When you talk about failed policies, I assume you are referring to Bush's policies. But so far very little that Bush embarked on has reached completion. The GWOT is still ongoing. Iraq is nearly fully back in the hands of the Iraqis, Afghanistan is still and ongoing operation and Iraq is a future issue.
