Alright, while this was a great effort to move across the goal, it is actually nothing spectacular and most certainly not the greatest save ever. With that said, I applaud his effort in actually moving across the goal and not giving up.

Watch some of the other goalkeeper saves on youtube and you will see. Like I said the impressive part of this goal is the effort he put in and the fact that he didnt give up.

Casillas is a great keeper, probably the world's best, but common, I have never never heard more biased/one-sided commentary in my life, even on other club channels. Real Madrid don't know the meaning of humility... "Football bank of your memory", "Best save in living memory", "Beyond belief", "Delves into all his resources". He's not saving a life for god sake.

Lets be honest, when your that close, your gonna make an accurate shot, not a powerful one. This is an example of a goalkeeper not giving up. Diving hoping to get there increases your chance even the slightest, and that is what strong goalkeepers do. I don't believe in any way that Casillas is in any way the best, but he is a goalkeeper that doesn't give up, and that is a good quality to have. He is willing to do this and that has got him some very nice saves.

@STR8TKILLADOWS I disagree with you too. Even though a keeper tipping the ball away from the top corner is a good save, this save that Casillas made was a fantastic one. He covered the length of the goal in around a second and also threw himself for the save (even if its not high). If you watch closely, he actually went for the dive a split second before the striker made a kick. It was a combination of agility and good play that he made the save.
