  • plain water & toothbrush. scrub good. what has happen, over time, paper dusk get on the roller. Rollers are made CHEAP. be careful, its made in china!

  • This problem is easy, well, compared to other problems on Samsung printers:)

THE PROBLEM: the black little rubber, the one that grab the paper, lost it friction nesesty.

you need to take the rubber out and then tern it to the other side and put it back.

other option is to moisten the rubber with some gasoline (you can do it with ear stick).

    NOW TO WILL RUN

To me and all the suckers that bought Samsung printers - good luck:(

  • it doesn't matter what brand of paper you use. before i thought the problem was that the printer was taking the paper in too late. but try taking it off the carpet.

  • thats the power of samsung....

  • You need to clean all those rollers with a rag with turpentine on it. It is a dirty bottom roller causing the problem. Get the unit off the carpet! and onto a desk.

  • @fixitfast74 Thanks for the suggestion. I cleaned the rollers loads of times in an attempt to get it to work. It was only on the carpet for the filming.

  • As far as I can tell from your video - your pickup roller on the bottom looks identical to the one in the ML1610 ( one inch across). If thats the case then you can unclip the plastic next to the rubber. This should not take you more than 5 minutes to complete. Replacement part only c0st 7 d0llars us.

  • @BigGutC64 Thanks! I will try it. Matt

  • I just trashed away mine when it broke down after one year and 2 months of usage. The repair cost more than a new one. Ever since I possessed this printer it brought me headache and heartache. The first 10 days, it already presented problem. Samsung exchanged a new one after 4 moths of waiting. The color print out is not accurate at all no matter how it configure. The cheap inkjet printer is much reliable.

  • its too old!!

  • i've got problem with samsung ml-2750... such a waste of money and time:(

  • have you tried putting something under the paper to lift it up towards the in feed rollers. or something to push it closer to them

  • I dont know if you've already sorted your problem out, but on my hp 6l i get the same problem, and from what i know its the rollers that pick up the paper, it probably needs replacing,, have you tried ebay?

  • Thanks for your comment. The printer is sitting in one of my cupboards, while I consider what to do with it. I might just buy a cheap £80 inkjet printer!! What a waste of money the Samsung has turned out to be (£200), and yes, I should have got it repaired under the waranty!!

I'm trying to find something to try and fix the paper pickup problem with this printer.

There is an inkjet printer(a canon I think) that uses individual ink cartridges that are cheap to replace, so might go for this

  • I have two of these printers and both of them have had this problem from day 1. I am sending them both back to Samsung as they are still under warranty. Its obviously a design fault by Samsung.

  • Damn, wish I had done this within the warranty period!

I'm going to have to try to repair it with a suggestion from below.

    Thanks for your comment.

  • after review your video , May be this is an stupid suggestion , have you ever try to put the printer on a hard surface like a table ?? , i meant do not put the printer on the soft surface because this could affects the sheets loading system Regards!!

  • Thanks for your comment.

Yes, it normally either sits on a table or on a large piece of wood in a cupboard. It's only on the carpet so that it was easier for me to show the 'tilt' method!!

  • Hmm, I don't know whats wrong but it could be dusty and keeps jamming or something.

  • Damn thing has been winding me up since I bought it - I've learnt only to print if I am in a calm mood! Nowadays, I simply cannot use it.

It's been cleaned many times, but has hardly been used.

  • Oh, That's a shame. With the modern Ink Jet printers it's much easier to find ut whats wrong since you can see the ink cartriges when you open the cover. Mabey you coul send it to PC world or Samsung to repair it for you.

  • A samsung repair agent wanted £110 to come and repair it - not much more to buy a new one! Shame to throw the whole machine away, so my last resort is to ask for help on YT ...AHHHHH!

  • the plastic is probably not moulded to the right shape, so it will have the problem, we had one at my house, and had the same problem.

  • Thanks for your comment, what did you do to fix it? (hope you're not going to say that you binned it!?)

  • We never binned it, we used a file to get rid of the sharpness

  • Oh right, so did you file down the 'rubber' bit that is supposed to move the paper into the rollers at the back?

  • yes we riled the edges of that so it is smoother, that should help :)

(by the way my ld channel was yfrontluva, it got hacked)
