  • I like turtles

  • This Ipad 2 contest ends in Nov. 9! Hurry and Join!

    youtube.com/watch?v=zJAkFOzUptc

  • fake! doesn't work (;

  • yeah! its working!!! but, my data is not safe.

  • Participate: goo.gl\8ONjl and win iPad 2.

  • im sooo tired of broken english -__-

  • @KELLZ720 yeah because you clearly speak a very good american english -_-

  • @daxx2k yeah...um i do

  • didn't work with me

  • NOOOOOO! WRONG! You've gone to power off the device, moron. It asks if you want to continue or cancel.... Wtf? That is not a security flaw, that's is a moron with no know how and little brains

  • Well, it IS a smart cover.

  • So what's the excuse now?

    • There are no viruses for iOS.

    • You are holding it wrong.

    • But look at the security flaws in Windows 95/IE4!

    • At least I don’t have to type in DOS commands.

    • This is fake - it's a conspiracy. Apple is perfect.

  • Yet another reason why these devices should not be allowed anywhere near Corporate environments.

  • Thx for raising this important security issue. Hopefully Apple will be quick to respond.

  • I just tried this on an iPad 2 with and without apps open, this does NOT work.

  • @Defiant031636 only ios 5

  • @digitalralf You are right actually, I just tested on another iPad 2 here with iOS 5 and it worked for Mail and Safari exactly as described in the video.

  • thats pretty boss

  • wtf does the lid closing really do anything?

  • Lolol iPieceOfShit

  • Wow, that's a nice glitch. Reminds me of the one in Windows 95 (or some of those older ones) where you just clicked Help on login screen, trying to print info, choosing font from folder -BOOM explorer.exe loaded. You had acces to data, but no internet connection.

  • @vojmor or when you could click cancel on the login screen to login..

  • I still love transcribing audio. Makes videos like these much funnier.

  • Wadsworth constant applies.

  • add to the end of every video URL:

    &wadsworth=1

  • lmao i cant believe you're all falling for this, look at the screen before and after he "closes tha leed"

  • this shit doesn't work

  • Wadsworth Constant applies, go to 43 seconds

  • @nofxious The Wadsworth Constant is to move 30%(by pressing 3) of the length of a video, but this video's point of interest is closer to 50%(press 5).

  • I've been on Reddit like 3 weeks, and I already know its stupid to say OMG! Reddit brought me here!

  • @SoCramZeRep apparently you dont. Not only does your logic fail you, Its easy to conclude that your too dumb to be a troll and are actually genuinely stupid

  • lol frigin hilarious. way to go apple.

  • It would take 5 seconds to fix this flaw, and it's probably not going to go unnoticed, but yeah...

  • lol i can do it in half the time

  • One minute too long to explain a 5 seconds trick.

  • @moorey dont be bitch.

  • 0:43 ...there u go!

  • @killwize the wadsworth constant wins again!

  • @killwize JUST OPEN THE LID...LMAO LMAO

  • Comment removed

  • @princesspink1234 Reddit said stop saying that shit. No one cares.

  • @spencerbrooksgay WHATEVER SPENCER BROOKS.

  • @spencerbrooksgay Your just mad because you never experienced the amazingness known as a "upvote."

  • @UhhWinning I've been on reddit more than you hence I know that it's stupid to say OMG REDDIT BROUGHT ME HERE OMG OMG!

  • @spencerbrooksgay You don't happen to know if you have been on longer than me. Unless you have access to my ISP and have collected all of my internet history TO DATE, and checked the first time I've been on Reddit, and how frequently I am on. So sir, your argument is invalid. Also I care that he said that.

  • @UhhWinning It's a probably a she...

  • @UhhWinning No it isn't, women don't exist on the internet.

  • dont lose a book you butterfingery douche nozzles, und ja ich duche mich jeden tag

  • Only on iOS5.

  • Top two comments about Wadsworth constant? I believe its time to shut the fuck up.

  • no bugs > major security flaws

  • Wadsworth ++

  • Apple should spend less time patent trolling, more time working on security methinks.

  • @Reoh0z soooooo friggin true

  • wow the immaturity going around the comments in this video are off the charts

  • The Tampa Bay Buccaneer's playbook!!! NOOO!!!!!

  • This video should be 90% shorter.

  • @panoramic79

lol, was thinking the same thing

  • @panoramic79 YEP WELL SAID VIDEO TOO DANM LONG FOR THAT....

  • @panoramic79 HE JUST LIKES TO TALK

  • if someone has possession of your ipad, you have better problems. or is there a class of thief who steals it, sends an email, and gives it back?

  • @townradio This is how I troll people IRL

  • Apple sucks at security.

Enjoy your viruses and malware, Macfags.

  • @livinglegend1187 wow you sound so stupid

  • i love wadsworth apples

  • isn't the US government and bunch of other companies using ipad? sheet

  • lolz

  • Constant applies

  • fuck the wadsworth constant

  • @DarthRoy1292 LOLUMADFAG?

  • One day there will be an original person on YouTube and that person won't type "wadsworth constant" (without knowing what the fuck it is) to try to be cool.

  • @Jagabot People wouldn't type it if video makers would stop front loading their videos with nonsense.

And just because you don't know what it is, doesn't mean everyone else doesn't.

  • Apple: UNHACKABLE

  • works on the iphone! i just tried mine

    holy crap

  • did anyone test this on your own? did it work for you?

  • Scary thing is, most PC motherboards have a simple jumper that, when closed has essentially this effect by resetting the admin password.

  • @ipo1103 You mean the jumper that resets the BIOS? Because there aren't any jumpers that affect OS passwords.

  • *Wadsworth Constant Applies*

  • kids this is what a hack is.

  • I like how he says "Boom. Now I have full access." ...except for EVERY app EXCEPT the one the was running in the foreground

  • @DiCasaFilm only a matter of time before someone figures out how to get around that as well.

  • This is just a simple security trick. A lot of systems have/had this kind of problem. If someone gains physical access to your iPad, this "login password crack" is the last thing you should be worried about.

  • 0:40 The Wadsworth Constant Applies.

  • I was expecting him to crack the ipad in half..I am dissapoint.

  • Does not work on the iPhone 4 ;)

  • Just tried it on mine, it doesn't allow you much, if any, access. Most applications won't start, etc. Can't read or send any of my mail.

  • Well, besides the app that was running when you locked it**@Sevacant

  • Wadsworth Constant keeps staring at me in the shower.

  • It just works!

  • wadsworth constant for the win!

  • It's not "full access" by the way. Yeah, it sucks but no reason to make shit up.

  • This guys like an arabian ninja!

  • shut the fuck up about wadsworth constant

  • Damn.

  • Wow.

  • Wadsworth's constant applies.

  • @Veto2090 yes it does.

  • well there goes one zero day

  • apple got owned :D

  • Wadsworth constant applies perfectly.

  • Comment removed

  • @lulzer2000 The video is at least 30 seconds long though . Dumbass. And that is the Wadsworth.

  • @klfailtree Not 30 seconds. 30%

  • moron

  • @lulzer2000 Wadsworth means 30% in to the video. 0:25 in this case

  • @lulzer2000 The constant says you can skip ahead 30% of the video and still get the full context fuckin retard

  • @iBashTV BAAAAASHHHHHHIRRRRRRRR!

  • Actual exploit at 0:44.

  • @orospakr THANK YOU.

  • There is a solution to keep your iPad 2 protected from the Smart Cover attack. In the settings menu under the "General" tab, disable "Smart Cover Unlocking" to prevent someone from using a Smart Cover to get around your password.

  • What if they don't have a lid?

  • @Spaceriff get one.

  • @WetePolfinger It always applies. That's why it's a constant.

  • @WetePolfinger You sir are a gentleman and a scholar

  • All the iPad fanboys can't take take that their password is useless.

  • lol it's like windows 95

  • @zykk42 It's a smart cover.

  • @bobwhiz And a dumb commentor! :D

  • Comment removed
