How will Pacquiao react when he fights a perfect counterpuncher that can move backwards and side to side. He has shown NO improvement from the Marquez fight in '08.
The way I see this fight is an 8th round KO for Pacquiao. In the first 7 rounds, Pacquiao will cut Cotto's face multiple times, then in the 8th round Cotto wouldn't be able to see that lethal left hook due to those bad cuts, resulting a Pacquiao KO.

Ironically, i was more for Cotto even though from the Philippines. Honestly, the build up for this fight was inferior to Hatton/Pacquiao because neither men gave any trash talk. the road Hatton/Pacquiao (the 24/7) was far more intriguing because of the arrogance. What happened in round 6, 7, and 8? Mosley was going back all those rounds, he felt Cotto power in the 5th so he decide not to exchange no more. People sometimes forget the first part of the fight. For the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight. I see the fight going 12 rounds. Mayweather will win the first 4 rounds and then suddenly in the 5th round Pacquiao starts deciphering his defense.
Pacquiao wins rounds 5 to 11. Then in the 12th round Mayweather will be forced to brawl with Pacquiao because the only way he can win is to Knockdown or Knockout Pacquiao.
Pacquiao KO's Mayweather in the 12th with a counter left-hook due to Mayweather's mistake trying to brawl and knockout Pacquiao.

I've never used nor alluded to the triangle theory. Styles do make fights and Pacquiao's style is even better for Mayweather than Marquez. He dives in with his chin open. All Pacquiao has is the hard straight left. His defense is one dimensional and he will be giving up 6 inches in reach. Pacquiao is very good but he has not fought anywhere near the competition to deserve to be spoken of in the same breath as Mayweather. I cannot even think of a black fighter of note that he has fought and beat.

Floyds fight against Judah showed us that he has SERIOUS problems stopping a quick, aggressive southpaw. Floyd's fights with De La Hoya and Hatton (and castillo) showed that a pressure fighter can win rounds against Floyd, whose comfort zone is to sit and potshot. We know that Pacquiao is quicker and a busier fighter with more stamina than any of the abovementioned fighters.

Floyd's fight against Judah shows that he has no problem dominating a fast southpaw that is bigger than Pacquiao and had a reach longer than Mayweather's. Again, Pacquiao has a 67 inch reach, Floyd 72 inches. Everythime Pacquiao comes in with his chin up, he will get tagged....probably more than once. How will Pacquiao react when he fights a perfect counterpuncher that can move backwards and side to side. He has shown NO improvement from the Marquez fight in '08.

The way I see this fight is an 8th round KO for Pacquiao. In the first 7 rounds, Pacquiao will cut Cotto's face multiple times, then in the 8th round Cotto wouldn't be able to see that lethal left hook due to those bad cuts, resulting a Pacquiao KO.
