always liked this horse probably the only one i could bet n didnt mind it losing cept for the time the horse ran very poorly then aidan obrien came on n said the horse had breathing problems before the race which i thought was a bit of a fiddle
vixitrixalina, Totally agree! I love the Staying Races on the Flat, wish we had more of them in this Coutry. What a True Stayer Yeates is. I Watched this race so many times and had no doubt he could easily win a fourth Gold cup. I though maybe Geordieland would of got a bit closer then he did though bless him. Just hope they Retire Yeates now though to preserve his Genes. Cant wait to see his progeny foals maybe a few years from now fingers crossed! Super Super Horse Yeates For EVER!
I remember the 2008 Ascot Gold Cup quite well and it is a privilege to see Yeats become the second horse after Sagaro to win three consecutive Gold Cups. Four Gold Cups as Simon Holt would say? I am not sure, yet. Wait until Thursday June 18th to see it.
had 50,000 on him that day
