I dont really understand TKD I have been training in shotokan karate and pi lum kung fu for 15 years now.and Everyone that I hav fought against that does TKD never protects themselves, also most TKD fighters only have one good leg and if you take that from them then they have nothing to win with ........The dude in the red is a cry baby lol he got beat hands down
point sparring is ok for junior grades but continuous is better as makes you realise that one technique is never enough, point sparring helps train speed and accuarcy but nothing more.its a glorified game of tag has no relevance for preparation of real fighting
I like continious...i did it once succesfuly but theonly thing i dont like is that no one really enter the continious divisions...all the good fighters rather do points...which sux
how come you dont want to keep doing olympic style...if i could i would do both....if you learn how to use the lead leg you may have an adventage in olympic tkd
Why does everyone think there "fast"? They're good, but its not like they're freakishly fast for their rank, I assume of course that they're somewhere between 1st dan and 3rd dan, if they're lower then that than yes, they are hella fast. They still wouldn't last a minute with my Master Lacy, he was trained by the current grandmaster, I don't remember how to spell it, its something like Grandmaster Byron.
first of all fast is good ,it is one of the essentials in learning martial arts,as far as lasting a minute with master lacy,I would put a karate man against a kung-fu dude or whatever made up grandmaster he be under ,it is a sad day when ignorant students like you can comment on martial arts publicly and cannot even remember thier teachers name,DUH!!!
Okay, so these guys might not have a ground game. But then again, they might just knock you flat before you even blink. After all, they are really, really fast! I fight just like them, but in a slo-mo replay manner!
dude i don't like point fighting because its like not true .. try to fight a real fight in a kung-fu dojo but with sweps in ground fighting and u will notice that tae kwon do its just bullshit
these point fighters WOULDN'T fight like this in a street fight. However, they would use the same sense of timing, angling, and overall speed and aggression to probably lay a beating down on most you-tube shit talkers
yeha i agree.. these morons talk cuz they dont know shit about martial arts.. .. this guys would fight almost the same in a real fight.. they would kick these computer nerds asses in a second..
dude your a fool.Taekwondo like any other martial art get respect any true fighter knows its not the art but the fighter that matters also on the street taekwondo is used very efficently...this is a competition...
for all you disbelievers check out the vid 'Click Click Boom' . A video showcasing fighters from Metro/East Coast All stars, JPM back in the day.

respect the sport.
i do point sparring, but totaly doffrent to this. karate style.
if we did that we would get DQed, you must show respect to the sport or you will only be a thug with a belt.
1 Star Rating.
