  • which video is part 2???

  • oh, pretty good. I'm a guitarist, but I just wanna learn how to play the drums just in case, so yeah.

Didn't know how to start, but this really helped.

  • seriously this is amazing. I have been looking everywhere for a beginner drum lesson; one that even included how to hold the drum sticks. thanks so much.

  • 1 and 2 and 3 and 4...... and.....

  • great video man keep up the good work

  • I wish my drums to glow like that too...How'd u do it,Jared?

  • Me: *thinks* Damn, that's slow.

    Him: Now don't worry if...

    Me: *thinks* thats too slow?

Him: ...You find that too difficult.

Me: WTF HOW IS THAT DIFFICCULT WILLIS?!

  • DAMN i was confused by the 3rd thing he taught lmfao

  • does any one know what a good and cheap starter set would be?

  • @xXChallengermanXx

    Mine!!! lol :D

  • @xXChallengermanXx Get the one from Sound Percussion (they sell it at Guitar Center). It comes with everything you need, i.e. the hardware - go for the pack that comes with cymbals too if it's available. Also, make sure that you have a drum throne (the stool).

  • I'm considering buying a drumkit, but I simply cant do the bass drums, any tips on what I can do to get better rythm control with my foot?

  • @aki1337

Whenever you are sitting for a long period of time just keep your heel on the floor and start tapping. Over-exaggerate the motions; bring your foot ALL the way up until you can't flex it anymore. Then bring it down. This really gives your muscles a wake up call, so can start developing power and control.

Gradually try to speed it up over time and alternate doing the same thing with your left foot.

  • @aki1337 You can do a few different things to get more control. One thing is to tap the hi hat with either your left or right hand (start with the stronger hand) and then hit the bass drum. Repeat in an alternating pattern, gradually speeding up as you get comfortable. You can also do a straight, steady beat using "four on the floor" if you want to coordinate both hands and your foot. Do the basic beat that Jared does in the video, but use the bass drum on all four beats.

  • Thxx man :D

  • i am just wondering, how do you get that thick sound from your bass ?

  • Why does he have one earplug because that way he can only hear half the music?

  • Why am I watching this, I haven't played the drums at all!

    That's why!

  • What is the difference between a drum set and drum kit? Message me it please

  • @PinoyProductions7 Haha, they're basically the same thing just people call it different names. Hope I could help haha

  • Gonna like and favorite this for when I finally get a drum kit :D

  • I have a question, during what times of the day should you play your drums?

  • @KDWorldBrickPix Whenever people aren't sleeping XDDD

  • i played guitar and piano and recorder. is it hard to start and play drum?

  • @domeee11 ive started playin drums ive have to say its a bit difficult for me especially since i also play guitar because u kinda have be syncing ur hands while playin guitar and unsyncing them while playing drums of course everyone might have diffrent expierieces

  • Thanks a bunch! Very useful! Buying my first drum kit next week so doing a bit of research. Exciting stuff!
