carrying a weapon is a privilege? We are so SCREWED! I mean its like everyday our rights are ripped a way little by little. I believe that every peaceful way of protesting these events should be put into action. But if it comes down to it, and I pray it doesnt. WE will have to stand up for our rights. Rights that countless soldiers have died protecting. People need to get educated!!! Constitutional Ignorance is a plague that should be stopped in its tracks!

@Josiah531 OUTRAGEOUS.I can not believe that people actually think the second amendment is a PRIVILEGE!it is an absolute right of the individual to defend his right to exist.and affirmed by the supreme court.I can not believe this guy was in law enforcement.

When you ask permission to exercise a right you have no rights but beg from the hand that owns you. Unless you do so undercover in a recon situation.

You can not convert a right into a privilege but should exercise it as a creation of God with His moral compass guiding you not mans restrictions of encroachment.

That sheriff isn't on the job anymore. in fact he was out just before the court case. The new sheriff had to deal with this case and the old one didn't even show up to defend his decision.

AWESOME! Way to go! Chalk one up for the good guys, and the old sheriff, new sheriff, and judge need a lesson in what a FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHT is. At least the judge made the correct decision, but needs to keep his personal opinions out of it and do what he's supposed to to: protect the rights of citizens.
