This is a teriffic guitar tune, and the Shadows are great and I am a big Cliff fan, but my first introduction to "Apache" was by Jorgen Ingmann, his is still my favourite version.

WOW! This is the only older clip I've seen in which Cliff and not Hank plays lead on this classic.

I think Cliff didn't play it - it's a gag - at the and Hank comes to Cliff with a cable and you can notice that the guitar is not plugged in.

Hank is actually carrying a microphone, not a guitar lead. Cliff is not miming but playing the guitar live. He doesn't play exactly as Hank plays live -- Cliff adds a few flourishes of his own, but he is playing, all the same.
