@toyotaprius79 my 4" is about 750kg because these are all steel. To move it long distances I use a transit. I can simply roll it of a ramp to get it of but I need to steam it on.
@kevrs2 Well, for a 4" (1/3) scale one of these, you're looking at say, for a really good, brand-new, about £25,000, or about £10,000-£15,000 second-hand. The smaller they are, the cheaper they get.
@DjmfoxCo depends what you get it was ages ago i got it btw not like the newer years it was bought around 17 years ago by my uncle who passed it down to me
Exbury Gardens is the home of the Rothschild family and has a large 2ft gauge railway running round it also. It is near Beaulieu in the New Forest in Hampshire UK S)45 1AZ. This event happens every year the first weekend in October. They have a good website.
i also didný know this existed i wish i did lol! it's awsome i might wanna get one of the small "tabletop"steam engines and make it drive a saw that would be cool :)
Where abouts is Exbury? I may try and bring my 6'' scale Mclaren when its finished. (must make sure because im not driving the landrover towing the box trailer, dad is lol.)
I love them^^

I wonder how heavy those things are, your not very likely to pick it up and put it in the boot of your fiesta with ease.

@kevrs2 In £s. 1" 1k-4k, 3" 3k-10k, 4" 10k-25k, 6" 40k-50k. The scales is in inches to a foot. So full size is 12" half is 6" etc.

There were sure enough of those steamers. I'm guessing they run on petrol rather than coal or wood.
