  • I love them^^

  • I wonder how heavy those things are, your not very likely to pick it up and put it in the boot of your fiesta with ease.

  • @toyotaprius79 my 4" is about 750kg because these are all steel. To move it long distances I use a transit. I can simply roll it of a ramp to get it of but I need to steam it on.

  • 38 the guy goes around lol i bet it would suprise u wat thease things could haul lol

  • What are they fed? Special coal? Wood?

  • @Bagabagab mostly coal but the smallest 1" ones may be gas

  • what sort of money would someone be talking to own one of these:)

  • @kevrs2 Well, for a 4" (1/3) scale one of these, you're looking at say, for a really good, brand-new, about £25,000, or about £10,000-£15,000 second-hand. The smaller they are, the cheaper they get.

  • @kevrs2 In £s. 1" 1k-4k, 3" 3k-10k, 4" 10k-25k, 6" 40k-50k. The scales is in inches to a foot. So full size is 12" half is 6" etc.

  • got to love steam engines power to weight ratio :D

  • I Saw One but much smaller at a steam conventon for $100 I wish i had the cash on hand!!!!

  • i got one of the 1 1/4 scale ones there like £3000 there worth it thow

  • 1st time ever seeing such a hobby. You people know how to have fun!

  • Exbury Gardens is the home of the Rothschild family and has a large 2ft gauge railway running round it also. It is near Beaulieu in the New Forest in Hampshire UK S)45 1AZ. This event happens every year the first weekend in October. They have a good website.

  • i also didný know this existed i wish i did lol! it's awsome i might wanna get one of the small "tabletop"steam engines and make it drive a saw that would be cool :)

  • Brits have some exceedingly cool hobbies.

  • Where abouts is Exbury? I may try and bring my 6'' scale Mclaren when its finished. (must make sure because im not driving the landrover towing the box trailer, dad is lol.)

  • There were sure enough of those steamers. I'm guessing they run on petrol rather than coal or wood.

  • Only in England! ;-)

  • around 00:13 you can hear someone yelling 'thomas, thomas the tank engine!'

  • These things are so awesome. Not too many people around that can build these any more. They say we are a dieing breed. I build trains. Petro
