My favorite would be SSB, then SSBB, and for me, SBBM was the worst in the series. The single player wasn't improved that much, there was too much clone characters, and the gameplay was too fast-paced.
ah the memories! *for melee i played 7 years and N64 5 years* gotta say i love them all but Brawl feels incomplete...i feel that they could have done more to it like removing the game trials and chronicles listings and i dont feel that collecting stickers was necessary for the game. Sadly like Melee Brawl was rushed into production with a lot still missing. Also they could have made Sonic a little more better for gameplay no offense but i find most of his moves weak...
Melee is one of the best Gamecube games I have ever played. I find it kinda better than Brawl. Probably because some Melee fighting styles are better than Brawl and the fact that the Melee's live orchestra is better than Brawl's synth-techno orchestra.

brawl: better graphics..
melee: better gameplay
n64:what can i say.. is the first game.. melee and brawl have born from n64... n64 have smoth moves... more than melee and brawl...
the next ssb shoud have the graphics of brawl, the game play of melee, more characters.. and the smoth moves of n64..
it would be the best game, EVER, or the best fight game ever..
and it should have new stages, brawl stages, melee stages, and n64 stages ( the best stages for me)
