Anyone besides me remember how epic this used to be?

Like when you went into the battle against brock feeling cocky and not training your main FIVE pokemon at all cause they were already good levels? And then you end up facing a full health Onix with that one Metapod you caught for shits and giggles and having the "I'm fucked" feeling? And then you somehow still won?

I miss that.

My head nearly exploded when I saw those drawings because I'm in art college and I want to be a concept artist for video games and stuff when I'm finished. But the reason for my head nearly exploding was because in my experience official Pokemon concept art is really hard to come across, and to me it feels like a holy grail of some kind.

@Gameguy602 Clearly he defeated Cynthia 666 times exactly, talked to the sign that in front of each of the gyms in less than 10 minutes, caught rayquaza by ringing the bell at Dragon Tower (or was it spiral?) 3 times, and then flew all the way to Pallet Town in Kanto, because you can totally do that. :D
