PM got the foreigner issue all wrong! The recent UK elections saw their immigration policy become a top issue - grievances mostly. Singapore has 10x the immigration (per capita) of UK in the last decade!
It's not enough to just "moderate" the influx - it's not even about closing our doors completely to new immi anymore.
To bring Singapore to the UK immi rate - a rate the British complain about mind you - we need actually to shed 90% of the foreigners in Singapore.
