@itzjusmee419 lol i have another vid with a 15 inch cozmik sub it hits a little harder. i also have one with my punches hits hella louder shakes the shit outta my car but i sold my punches and blew both 15's so im looking at another punch 15. i couldnt blow them punches so why not get another one.
yeah i know what your saying ive been a big fan of fosgate for years probably since i started getting into bass really and im a huge fan of theyre amps to this day i dont think ive fried a single fosgate amp or sub
lol i have had 3 punch amps i fried all 3 lol 200s 400s and the 1200 watt one cant remember the model number. but they dont have built in fuses i soddered them back together of course lol. but if you open one up the main power going in you can see a thin piece of copper plate loking things one for ground one for power they are about 1/4 inch wide the alway melt in half on me so i put a good 1/2 gob of solder on top and they dont seem to let go then lol. did all 3 like that then sold them.
yeah ive blown my fair share of fosgate amps also it seems that they have amazing potential in output but the component arent able to handle such power....but then again thats what you get when you have cheap asses trying to squeeze together every penny possible....instead of paying .20 cents for excellent resistors they would rather pay .11 cents for cheaply made generic shit
i hear that man lol. but there new black amps seem ok i dont have one yet but i plan on it lol. gotta try the new stuff. but for the most part i would love to get one of them power accoustit 980's lots of power
@mysubsbang shit let me know how they hold up for real because ive been eyeing them myself just dont want to sink my money into something when i know it has a pretty good chance of blowing lol....but power acoustic is deffinetly a good brand and always has been i cant say too much about theyre subs but ive had many amps and ive never been disappointed
lol its all good man. yeah i had 2 15's the old skool ones with the bigger magnets they were the 200 ounce magnets and the suround was the ribbed type like the new type r's damn things will beat hard man. one of my bass pals had the red suround ones said competition series on the cone. im sure those were louder but he had 4 15's and 2 very small amps. i mean my 2 hit harder than his 4 so he had to have a weak amp lol
