  • Nice to see a crafting video where the person isn't wearing artificial nails.. lol :o)

  • @BlazerRose Thank you, that is such a sweet comment - and compliment - I appreciate it.

  • Oooh I love that! You are so funny, the confession bit at the beginning really made me laugh! I so empathise, I am naughty all the time - a very addictive hobby. Good job I work. :) xxx

  • @embroidnurse Too right you are. Have to work to support our habits. Hey, if there is anything to be addicted to this one can't be beat. Not only you, but your family benefit from this addiction. Can't beat that!!! :-)

  • I love this....now I need some of this metal....and can I ask -- where did you get that big honkin sanding block!?!?!? I want one because ti would work fabulously when I emboss coredinations cardstock and have a large area to get the outer layer sanded off. Hmmmm...must go hunt for sandling block! You are so fun Leslie...you clearly are my "bonus for being good today!"

  • Thank you, thank you very much. You are going to give me a big head.

The sanding block I got from Lowe's in their paint department. It is with all the rest of the sand papers. This one is a coarse grit, probably too coarse for what I did but it works and is easy to use. It is foam core so nice and squishy in you hand. Molds around anything except real small spaces.

Thank you again for your comments.

  • Had to come back real quick to tell you I ♥ your haircut!! You go girl...

  • Thank you for your sweet compliment. I appreciate it. Just not too sure about the "bang" thing happening.

  • Leslie,

You must watch Cheryl and Megan on the Ten Second Studio Web site - they do a taco tuesday (every tuesday) video that is wonderful!! I ♥ TSS!!

It makes me happy to see someone else discovering this wonderful media!!!

    Have fun!

    ~Jill

  • The scrapbook store I was in, women were gathered in one aisle and talking over one another telling what they did with this "product". I had to be nosy and find out what it was. When I saw it, I asked if it can be used in the Big Shot and I was nearly throttled by all the excited exclamations of "YES" so I had to try it.

The videos at Two Second Studio are pretty hilarious, as well as informative.

  • Wow those came out really Beautiful

  • Didn't they though? So much that I'm not sure I want to share. Probably would be a good thing to do, don't you think?

  • Yup LOL

  • You go girl shop til you drop. I see you pampered yourself as well very nice hair cut.

Your snow flake might not be sutting very well because the plates you put on top might be scard to much which is not allow the tiny spots to sut very well. I need new plates myself. TFS.

  • Thank you for the sweet comment on my hair. I appreciate it.

I don't know what is up with that snowflake die. That is the only one I seem to have real trouble with. A new set of acrylic pads might be the answer.

  • So you made the (thanks) backwards gives it a good reason to alcohol inked up or painted then sanded. Gotta get me a die cutting machine. TFS!!

  • Shameless plug here - You can purchase a Big Shot from my Stampin' Up! website :-) If you decide to take advantage of the 40% discount at Michaels to get one you can still get the Top Note die or embosslets from my Stampin' Up! website since the ones I've used in this video are not sold in stores.

    Shameless plug over.

    Leslie

  • @boknstet Didn't know that you had a website. Will check it out. Thanks

    Michelle

  • I have a blog connected with my website. You can click on the blog tab and find more of my foolishness and nonsense. Mostly, more detailed information about the things I've put up on YouTube that I can't fit in the 10 minutes of time restraint.

  • i liked it super cool to no you can use the emb. plates to cut metal thanks for the video

  • Me too. I was afraid I had made another purchase that would sit on my shelf for years, AGAIN.

  • How much was that metal

cause if its not expensive when i send you ur goodies i will send you the money to pick me up some

    Donna

    very cool goodies u made

  • The price I paid was $9.99 for 4 sheets in the package. Seemed a bit pricey to me but once I got it home and saw how easy it was to cut and use with the Big Shot then I cringed less.

If you want some let me know. There are two colors per pack. 2 sheets of each color. They are: Black/Pearl - Pink/Brown - Barn Red/Slate - Appletini/Plum

Yes, these "goodies" turned out quite nice, and thank you.

    Leslie

  • Very beatiful...Thanks for sharing,

    Indira

  • Thank you very much.

  • BTW...your haircut looks great! :o)

  • Thank you very much. The young lady at Great Clips did a wonderful job. Not sure if I like the "bangs" or not yet. It's been since 1972 that I've had bangs. Holy Cow - 38 years and counting.

  • Very cool stuff...and pretty too! Thanks Leslie!

  • Thank you, yes it is some pretty cool stuff. There were several women discussing the metal and I had to be nosy and find out why they were so excited about it. Now I know.

  • cool! I love the Manhatten die!

  • Me too. Didn't think I would at first. Looks a bit too sophisticated for my tastes but I prejudged it.

  • You can also use soda cans (just have to be careful!) I made some "Tim Holtz flowers" out of a soda can!

  • That is cool, thanks. I'm sure there is someone that would be really interested in this tid bit. Now that I've bought this stuff I better figure out how to use it. Now I need to investigate a "Tim Holtz flower", what is that?
