I would first look at why you broke up in the first place. If it was an issue that you caused then work on it in the mundane and through spellwork. If it was your ex then that it up to them. A spell to bring you back together without fixing why you broke up would be a disaster.

A test spell is ok. As far as being fair it is no different from someone using a tutor. However, you should form the spell to help you remember and you need to study as part of the mundane work of the spell. I am all for using magic to get ahead. The point I was making was that some people try to use magic as a cure all or easy way out. They neglect to do the mundane part of the work and try to rely on magic alone which usually doesn't work.

There are so many reasons not to do something like that. One would be karma. You also should be more concerned with finding someone who is good for you rather than what you think you want at the moment. In the long run you will be much happier than trying to force someone to love you. It's not real love if you use manipulation to get it.

It depends on your set of ethics. For me, the answer would be no. Even if it is within your code of ethics it is usually a bad idea. You may love the particular person in question, but it may not be the best match for you in the long run and forcing them to love you will only lead to misery. The best type of love spell is one that draws the correct love towards you. One that will benefit you for the long term rather than a short time.

Great video. I think the lure of a love spell is what draws a lot of people to Wicca and then they are greatly disappointed when it doesn't work. Personally I don't think a beginner would be adept enough in magick to change another persons will. If they were to try the spell wouldn't work. The act of trying to harm another person though might bring some negative energy your way. Love spells should be about the chacteristics and personality you want your match to have and not a specific person.

Thank you! My suggestion would be to make sure you know what you are looking for and why. Once you have that down you can do a spell where you ask that those who are compatible and a good match for you make themselves known or cross your path. You can get more specific in their looks, but not to specific. Hope this helps.

It sounds like you need to work at mending the problems between you if she is willing to do so. My advice would be to focus on yourself and what it was that you did to her, is it a pattern that you repeat in all relationships and how not to repeat it in the future. I hope it works out either with her or your next relationship.

No, it could still work. The problem is that you will attract what you believe you deserve in your subconscious. So, if deep down you think you don't deserve someone who is faithful to you, no matter what you say in the spell, you are likely to get the cheater. The same goes for the non-magical world. People who respect and love themselves do better and appear more attractive to potential mates. It manifests in the way you carry yourself and in your general physical health. The mind is powerful

I'm gay and I used a love spell to bring me and my partner together. The best type of love spell is one that causes you to cross paths or be exposed to potential and compatible partners. Someone could cast a love spell for you, but I think it would work better if it was cast by you.

As far as magic you may want to do a spell or prayer to your patrons for guidance in your words and actions towards him. The one thing every witch needs to remember is that magic doesn't fix everything and is not always the best route.

Raymond Buckland has a book on candle magic. That is the simplest and probably the best place to start if you wish to cast a spell.
