  • lmao theyre just tieing the calves up and letting children chase them this aint cruel

  • i dont think calf roping is cruel, but i think they should have to be gentler with them... ive seen some pretty baad accidents in the calf roping events... and yanking on their necks and throwing them to the ground is CRUEL!

  • THUMBS UP IF U AGREE THAT THIS VIDEO IS HORIBLE, HEART BREAKING </3 AND CRUEL!!!!!

  • THATS HORRIBLE! </3

  • This is somewhat random, but I somehow managed to lasso my legs, while standing on my bed.

  • ANIMAL ABUSE!!!!

  • people im not a rodeo person, but i dont see why this is sooo bad. its not like they kill the bull. all what happenes is that the rope stops the cow and it doesn't choke them when they stop. and tying legs together isn't bad either. what the harm of some rope? these cows are bred for roping and they don't get killed. after a roping life they live in peace at thge pasture. if u guys r willing to eat the cows that go through more pain than this, please don't complain

  • @Footphobics01 exactly the people who think this is bad get on my nerves i mean i go to these 2 times a week or so and they never kill or harm them

  • @243pokemon yea people dont know what they r talking about. and if they eat cows that go through way more pain than dis, they shouldnt talk!

  • @Footphobics01 yeah i know if you watch the processing vids they push them with fork lifts and stuff

  • @243pokemon yup they really abuse the cows in their last minutes while here they dont kill them. sure it might hurt them but not killl them

  • @Footphobics01 , yeah hurting them doesn't count? Is that like you can beat someone up, as long as you don't kill them? Since when is torturing a food animal before you eat it an American tradition? sick twisted "fun" eh?

  • @AnimalLeftist i never said it was fun. i have never done rodeo and im a vegetarian so i cant stand seeing anything totured. but would u rather have an animal kille or hurt. and they dont get hurt that much either. people shouldnt get hurt anyway but people can talk and stand up for themselves animals cant. and the other rodeo things they do dont hurt the animals either. they ride bucking horses and bulls, and rodeo hurts more people than animals

  • @Footphobics01 In bull riding and horse bronic the horses are givin a flank strap and an eletric shock with a TASER and these calves are only 3 months old and my cousins live on a farm like me but I don't have cows yet because we just started and when you are actally patting one and you think about roping you would probably say to yourself, "Who would want to hurt such a gentle animal?" And P.S Bulls do not hurt people. They are frightend thats why they hurt others in rodeo.

  • @priyasworld2001 They don't tase at all rodeos.

  • @243pokemon yeah i help raise cattle and the only thing we do to them is castrate them and then let them go to the rodeo we feed them and raise them even though it is hard work on them it is still not enough to kill them

  • That Is Just Sick!! >:( Why Would Any One Do Something Like That? Its Just Wrong.!

And The People Liking This Video Is Just Sick! Thats Animal Abuse! Its sick! >:(

Go Find Something Better To Do With Ye'r Lives!!! >:( Stop Treating Poor Baby Calves Like A Piece Of Dirt! >:( >:(

  • @lilly161998 dude this is not animal cruelty if it was rodeos would be band so back the fuck of these people

  • all these hippie liberal tree hugging flower children need to stop bitching about a fucking calf. It's a culture and tradition, since it's days in mexico up to our brothers here up north. if you don't like it don't look up the video.

  • you think you are man figting with a poor little cow????? If you fight with my dick you lose, sure........fucking bastard

  • @fejoada1000 people like you make me laugh. if any rodeo cowboy on this earth were to get in a fight with you the last thing they would do is lose, you would get knocked right on your ass. those are the toughest athletes on this planet. no doubt about it

  • Farmall211@ Um WE came to earth to look after animals not try to kill them! We can't just meat there life out cows and other meat animals need to be in somthing else eg. Circus, a Childs best friend? Like me, I'm just a kid and I have cows and we don't

  • Gotta hate the rodeo. I can not believe that they let the kids chase CALFS! all that is doing is teaching them to be cruel and make animals have a bad life. :(

  • @priyasworld2001 i'm sorry, but you just piss me off.

  • @scottdsaxton I'm very sorry about that then, but my opinen is that rodeo SHOULD be banned but your opinen is fine! :)

  • does this kill the calves? D:

  • @kompuiheartsu no man it doesn't that just stops them it does nothing to them after this they untie them and feed them then if there isn't another rodeo they take them back to a ranch

  • @243pokemon oh okay. well looks like fun!

  • ive been rodeoin since i was 1 and ive seen like 4 calves in my whole life get hurt this is wat started america and u queer tree hugers dnt have enough respect to our country and ppl to leave us alone i do this for a living this is how we make money there is fines in the prca for dragging a calf to far because of u queers if i ever c a tree hugger at a rodeo of mine sayin u abuse the animals to me so help me ill rope him and drag him so dnt tell me how to live my life

  • @XxBOJANGLZxX You said it.

  • bitches gonna hate

  • It's like these calfs are women that just have to lie there and wait for the guy to fumble around until he's gotten off, with much applause from the crowd.

  • @horselover12345677 Calling people derisive names based around location of living is meaningless and creates the divide and conquer scenario. It is a diversionary split.

There is also no logic in what you just said, "it's ok cuz it doesn't happen mostly", you are not the calf. "it's not meant to harm, them", but it does and that much so is quite visible and intentions mean nothing. It is exploitation and I can enjoy the outdoors and country as much as the rest of you.

  • @101101101777 You seem pretty smart. The fact of the matter is, if you live in rural Montana, have cows, have horses, live the ranch life, this isn't bad to watch. The fact that yes, you do live in the city, and yes, you think this is wrong, is ludicrous. It's the way of the west. We do this stuff for fun, and for work. It isn't work if you enjoy it. We don't kill this animals, these calves live a decent life because after they get too big to be roped, they go back to grazing. Furthermore, you

  • @Farmall211 damn straight i live in texas

  • @101101101777 you dog on us because we rodeo, but the stuff you shove down your throat at McDonald's gets much more cruel treatment at slaughterhouses. But if you want to still sit here and say this is wrong be my guest. Because you can't get rid of it. At least not until you get rid of the West.

  • Poor calf.. :'(

  • hey gues what bo one really cares about 1994 this is 2011 not 17 years ago

  • How small does ones cock have to be to abuse animals this way? Bunch of tough guys they are.

  • @ChrisCR1 acually. there was a study in 1994 that found that .047% of the animals are injured during calf roping

  • @ChrisCR1 Haha buddy, you jump on a bull. Since you're the tough guy.

  • Why do people think that livestock should be pampered like dogs and cats!? It ain't a damn housepet! The calves get up and run off and are fine. You people oughta learn before criticizing. I bet you guys wouldn't be too happy if someone critisized what you do without knowledge.

  • It's unfair that's it's such a small still grownig calf wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't roped up by it's neck bein edged by a horse and thrown to the grownd. If they were real men they would wrestle bigger bulls

    Not wee calfs

  • this is really sad :,(

  • having seen a few bad ropings and thinking cruel people ... i decided to look for a few others ... and this video i think was excellent ... from a total outsiders point of view the calfs where not harmed ... good clean take downs every time ... now asin any sport things can and do go wrong ... horse racing for instance im sure as many horses are killed in steeple chases as calf roping ... so lets ban everything eh ... dont be silly folks if you dont like it dont watch

  • To all yall who think that cowboys and ranchers abuse their animals... Guess what? For us ranchers.. Our livestock is our livihood. Without them we have nothing.. We are nothing. And we have been using techniques like team roping for years and years and years. And i promise you that it's not hurting the cattle or the horses! So yall need to fuck off unless you know what the hell your talking about cuz my rope horse is probably in better health and condition and happier than you are.

  • poor animals, how they knock them down, it isn't funny! I should like knock the humans down like this!

  • stop torturing and abusing these innoecnt animals! all you guys care about is making money off of them not animal safety, you take it and throw it on the ground you murdering cowards!

  • @normalguyable fuck you we grew up doing this and we love it so fuck you

  • @camrocks19 coward who abuses animals, what goes around comes around coward!

  • Not to DISAPPOINT you, but ain't is a word. Use good JUDGEMENT, and look it up in the dictionary before you judge.

In Texas, we also say fixin' to, feeder road, and ya'll. Another commonly used word is Beeyotch for the not so nice people. I hope you pick up the sweet souhtern subtlelty.

  • @iluvtex how come? they always abuse from animals didnt you ever notice that?

  • i agree with "horselover12345677" any of u god damn "City Slickers" who dont like our way of entertainment just fuck off!!

  • @vog0003 Your form of entertainment is sick to say the least. Another ignorant poster says "as long as these animals are not abused". Why do you think these bulls dance around like that? They are in pain. Every time I see cowboys die or get hurt in the arena I know that they have received exactly what they deserved.

  • @dorianmixvideo actually they are not in pain. if you knew anything about rodeo or had the sense to just look it up on the internet or ask somone you would know that besides bulls naturally bucking they use what is called a flank strap.this strap does not induce pain, it works off of pressure, just like a lead chain for a dog or a bit in a saddle horses mouth. In fact the flank strap is tightened in the same way you cinch a girth on a riding saddle, except that the flank has a quick release.

  • @dorianmixvideo First of all if yah have a problem with it, why are yah watchin it? Bulls "dance around" cuz thats what theyre taught to do and its called bucking, if yah had any commmon sense. And you can just grow the hell up, sayin that stuff about our cowboys..Your kinda people can go die!!

  • @dorianmixvideo That was extremely harsh. Under NO circumstances should you wish someone to die or think they deserved to die. The animals are NOT in pain and they are NOT being abused, why don't you go look up the rules and technicalities of the sport. I take great insult to that, because you're basically saying straight to my face that my S.O. deserves to die. How would you like it if I told you that your S.O. deserves to die? Go stand on a soap box else where. You aren't welcome here.

  • The gayest of sports, had to be american....lol wish the entire country would just vanish from history

  • @EnergyKid

    Shut up city slicker

  • @MrJoshua2626 dude you don't even know where I was born so grow up, and shut up.

  • @EnergyKid

You dont know where i was born so you shut the hell up

  • @MrJoshua2626 only I didn't call you a city slicker or made comments on where you were from, kid.

  • @EnergyKid

Im not a kid im 22 years old

  • @MrJoshua2626 lol. We're the same age and I kept feeling like I was talking to my 12 year old brother.

  • @EnergyKid

Okay felt like i was talking to my 15 year old sister

  • @MrJoshua2626 she must be very smart or adopted

  • @EnergyKid

She is smarter than me i dropped out of school and now i work on a farm day and night

  • @MrJoshua2626 Maybe you'll get to like animals this way

  • @EnergyKid

I love animals, but 2 days ago had to put down my horse which sucked cause she was awesome.

  • @MrJoshua2626 I'm sorry...why was she put down? You know those baby steers are pretty awesome too! :D

  • @EnergyKid

She was attacked by a mountain lion while in camp she was bad enough hurt my dad just shot her.

  • @MrJoshua2626 I'm sorry. It seems like you really loved her.. are mountain lions common where you live?

  • @EnergyKid

Yes they are common I live in Northen Idaho

  • Bullfighting is whats fucking cruel... i hope every bull rips the bull fighter apart. its frieken stupid.

  • @Twiztidguy its called bull riding..and this is calf ropinn..Durrr.

  • their is a sport called bullfighting... mexico and other countries do it... i was making a statement that i think its worse than this. i know what fucking video i was watching. @DixieXChickX

  • disgusting men, id shit on your graves

  • call these guys men???

  • @meandpo hell yeah!!!! we do!

  • love how the video focuses on some lame ass roll your own hat and to everyone that thinks rodeo is cruel these animals arent being harmed and when accidents happen its a huge deal but how many times do you expect something with so many variables to go the same way every time its called an accident folks and cruelty is city people shooting other people for shoes and money for crack or laying people off so they get more money or not giving a shit about the person next to you

  • WTF! This is just cruel! These horses are dragging the poor calf backwards choking them!!

  • @arabjumperxD If yah knew ANYTHING about rodeos yooud know that is aint chokin them!!!

  • @DixieXChickX Do those cows look happy?? Um No. Obviously not. I know quite a bit about rodeos actually thanks for asking. Its obvious those cows are getting drug back by their necks and the rope is very tight. How would you like that happening to you for the enjoyment of people? And darling I'm very sorry to dissapoint you but "aint" is not a word. If you dont know how to use good vocabulary then how is it you are able to use good judgement?

  • @arabjumperxD

It aint cruel at all nothing cruel about it. The calf isnt being dragged by the neck being dragged the legs i bet you wouldnt last one day doing what we do.

  • @MrJoshua2626 0:13 No shit dumbass.

  • @arabjumperxD

I just said that to see if you were as dumb as you sound

  • @MrJoshua2626 Yupp sure you did.. Well apparently Im not. So whos the dumbass now? That would be you(: Have a fucking great day faggot.

  • It's not animal abuse. when you're a cattle farmer this isnt a competition. You have to do these things. Its part of it. But, it evolved into competition, and I love it. And I've seen people get hurt by a steer more than I've seen the steer get hurt by a person. a cow is a strong animal.

  • @helmsjared35 First off I have to say I mean i'm by no means a cowboy or a farmer I guess you could classify me as a "city slicker" as horselover puts it. But I came across these "Shark" vids on steer roping while fucking around on youtube.

And watching those videos what you said was kind of my first thought I mean correct me if I'm wrong the whole idea of steer roping is that you need to catch the calf if its running away from the herd otherwise it could get itself lost and/or hurt itself

  • @TBAL285 the term is rancher. pussy

  • @helmsjared35 if you were a cattle farmer you would take more care of your animals.. the animals are your priority, not the clock or the audience or your egos..

and yeah cows are strong and if it was a fair contest you cowboys wouldn't stand a chance.. but that is probably why half of you chase around baby animals.. because it takes a really big man to chase a baby animal around an enclosure on horse back and tie it up.. you cowboys wouldn't stand a chance in the real world.. pathetic!..

  • @rockhoppin why dont you just go to hell

  • @semperfi253 im not the one who tortures baby animals for fun so going to hell isn't something i have to worry about.. why don't you try a more constructive argument rather than just hurling abuse.. or is abuse all your capable of?..

  • @rockhoppin abuse isnt all im capible of i can kick your scraggedy ass any day of the week i bet your one of thoes assholes who eats veggie burgers and drinks soy latteys why dont you go suck on some dick and grow a set num nuts

  • @semperfi253 so you admit that what you do is abuse and to make some kind of weird point about it you want to fight a woman.. yeah i can see the logic in that!?..

..and just for the record i have far too much respect for my body to fill it full of junk food burgers and caffeine.. not that i would expect you to understand the meaning of respect..

  • @semperfi253 im not the one who tortures baby animals for fun so going to hell isn't something i have to worry about.. why don't you try a more constructive argument rather than just hurling abuse.. or is abuse all your capable of?..

  • @rockhoppin there is nothing abusive about the sport of rodeo. its a way of life. just like anything else. were all hard workin, God lovin cowboys. you guys throwin a fit about this is pathetic, you should be more concerned about something like how abort 3 million babies a year! fight that cause there is nothing what so ever wrong with the sport of rodeo. you guys will never get rid of the cowboy way of life, so your just wasting your time.

  • @rockhoppin

    Very Well said.

  • fuck em they are made to be eaten anyway its NOT a person

  • Listen if you don't like this shit then don't watch it!

  • For real these animals are used to it. And are bred to do it. Every now and then the animals do get hurt. But it's by accident. I do a sport called mounted shooting and it's alotta fun. I LOVE rodeoing and I LOVE animals. This sport ain't meant to intentionally hurt the animals. But freak accidents do happen. Get over yourself. And watch what happens behind seen and then you can judge. Just don't see the accidents and start judging. You dumb fucks.

  • Oh yah its not meant to hurt animals, BUT it does!!!

  • @Sarahthesullivann

its just like any sport . athlets get hurt . the game might not be ment for someone to get hurt like soccer , but have you seen how they break eachothers legs . and headbutt heachother in the chest !!!!!!! thats wht i thought . ( i know i spelled shit wrong but im to lazy to go back and correct everything ) i probably should have done it with the time i spent typing this useless paragraph . BUT it happens.

  • these animals were bred for this shit people are stupid when the feel bad this isnt nothimg im highly active in rodeo and this is a great sport it takes alot of time and effort and heart

  • omg!!! poor cows !!!

  • @6horselover6 Wow pussy you havent seen the worst i hate people like you

  • T.T -hugs calf-

  • Im in high school rodeo right now and im doing steer wrestling calf roping and team roping it requirs hard work and dedication for sure

  • its not animal abuse. making a cow into a buger hurts it alot more than this does

  • @nfrodeo4life Agreed

  • what the hell are you watchin this for?

  • @trashawn93 go get a life hippy

  • Cool video. Rodeo is so much fun to watch. I unfortunately was never able to be around live stock growing up. In fact, horses scare me (and the fact that my friends horse was an ornery bastard and tried to bite me multiple timesndidn't help). But I always loved watching the rodeo at the county fair every year. As for the people who seem to think humans should be ashamed for enjoying this sport, well, they clearly have enough self-loathing for the rest of us, so I'll let them worry about that.

  • All livestock wether it be rodeo or ranchers or showing livestock, they all get better taken care of then the humans that feed them. They have special feed for them that cost more than one trip to walmart for one us citizen.. some of yall dont have a flippin clue what goes on in the livestock industry to even begin to know what actually happens to those animals. there is a fine line.. yall need to get a flippin clue before you start fights you cant back up!

  • This is animal abuse!!!

  • why do people do stupid things like that I saw a video of a calf getting trampled by a horse and the people didn't notice and then the calf was in pain so the shot it but it didn't die completly so they had to shoot it again poor animal I hate rodeos

  • I've never seen an animal get hurt at a rodeo, just the opposite those animals are some of the most cared for I've ever seen they have better vet care than most people have health care.

  • TO: City Slicker Dick Eatin Dumbasses; Rodeo is not meant to harm animals, i can see you "City Slickers" getting mad when an animal gets hurt but it doesn't happen very often!! If you city slickers want to do something about the loving sport of RODEO just fuckin try to!!! P.S. GO EAT SOME VEGETABLES AND BIG HAIRY DICK!!

  • what a typical rodeo person you are. how sophisticated.

  • ah.. another constructive comment.. not at all narrow minded or ignorant.. your a great representative for your precious community.. showing your true colours..

you don't have to be a ''city slicker'' to see an animal suffering.. you should try opening your eyes..

it doesn't matter how many animals are being injured each year.. its the fact that animals ARE being injured.. and for your entertainment!.. do you have any understanding of how pointless rodeo is?..

  • @rockhoppin hes not part of our community he's some fake buckle wearing jick who tucks his pants into his boots and asks why we wear tennis shoes when were not riding. ignore those comments

  • sad cowboy fags enjoying abusing animals

  • fags? ive never in my life met a cowboy that was gay yeah im sure there are some but that aint abuse those cows are one of the toughest creatures on gods green earth and they hop right back up after they get untied and yeah they do untie them we dont just hold them down and beat the hell out of them for enjoyment its a sport just like football or baseball it just involves old traditions

  • @stevelaw6673 you enjoy it in the butt. faggot

  • wow u are all fucking stupied how bout u all shut the fuck up and take it yea it happen and u all take do anything about it and fuck u people treat ur kid like that most of the time it nothig and no animal gets hurt as u can see

  • Great video! Sorry so many folks are calling it curel. All I can say is ... City folk! LOL

  • this is not cruel none of you would last a day in rodeo

  • This is insane!!! This is not a sport, but cruelty towards innocent animals. Please stop this.

  • its not cruel those little calfs hop right back up after they get untied aint nobody hurtin them

  • These events represent activities that take place every day on a ranch. Don't call it stupid or cruel because it's not. It puts food on the table

  • wow all of you ppl here are fucking stupid, rodeo is not a curel sport, we would never go and intentually try and hurt the animals so why dont you go eat a dick.

  • Thanks for posting this video, for all of You uneducated folks, this sport is based on tradition , this is how its still done out here in ranching country - and if You open up your eyes for long enough you will see that the calf is not hurt in any manner - he moves pretty quick after release for an injured animal dont You think . Think about this, why would a stock contractor deliberatly put his animals at risk they are his bread and butter .

  • poor cow, red necks

  • its called cowboys not rednecks theres a difference

  • What a stupid event.

  • rednecks

  • JESUS FUCKING CHRIST! what is wrong with you people it is so cruel snd tell me what did the cows do to deserve this? oh ya nothing you sick sons of bitches

  • we aint killin them man its a tradition passed down we are just keepin it alive

  • actually you know that thats how they branded cattle? you rope them then either pick em up and hold em down or you tie em up and brand them so you dont really know what you are sayin

  • yeah i do really know what im saying.. im well aware that's how cattle are branded.. but the animals at rodeo aren't being branded are they?.. roping and tying of cattle for branding is done to ensure the safety of the cattle and the stock handlers..

rodeo roping is all about the clock, the egos and entertainment.. with no regard for the welfare of the calf/steer involved..

like i said.. where in your tradition was it ok to break an animals neck and legs for fun?..

  • thats the tradition! and in all the rodeos ive ever been to i have never seen a calf get a leg or their neck broken. they are tough animals thats why in steer wrestlin you can twist their neck so they can fall over it aint gonna break

  • the tradition you are talking about is a working tradition.. were there is a necessity to catch these animals.. branding for example..

there is no necessity for rodeo.. it's just a bunch of guys playing at being cowboys.. there is no need to catch the calf other than to beat the clock.. it's pointless and animals are suffering as a result.. why does anyone need to wrestle a steer in front of an audience?..

  • why does anyone wanna score a touchdown in front of an audience? and you know how they learned this skill? by workin with their dads on the ranch growin up they didnt just wake up one day and say i wanna be a cowboy it doesnt work like that. they do the sport because there really isnt much of a need for cowboys anymore so they keep the tradition alive by showing it and competing in the timed events. and i really dont disagree that it could be cruel

  • they dont do it to hurt them and its really unfortunate if they do but they arent just dropped off to suffer somewhere they are put down and its not different than some slaughter house killing hundreds of animals for food the meat of every good animal used in rodeo is not left to rot

  • god you have no idea do you?

  • never seen a claf neck break. most common injuries are rope burn on legs and scowers from OVER feeding. youre an idiot

  • just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it hasn't happened.. and why is any injury acceptable for entertainment?..

and if over feeding causes scowers, don't over feed!..

im not the idiot here.. you have just proved that!..

  • i've never even heard of it happening. those SHARK faggots don't even have a tape of a calfs neck breaking and if those nosey fuckers don't have it it doesn't happen often enough to talk about. stick to taking care of your house cats because you obviously know nothing about cattle

  • @rockhoppin if you want to rule out all entertainment that has the possiblity of injury might as well outlaw every single sport out there including but not limited to: football, soccer, mma, tennis, golf, wrestling, karate, kung fu,baseball, softball, nascar, formla one,. . . I think you get the point

  • @TBAL285 if someone chooses to participate in any sport they do so with an understanding of the risks involved and that is up to them..

the difference with rodeo is that the animals don't get the choice.. they are forced to take part often resulting in horrific injuries.. if the cowboys get injured, tough.. they took that risk..

but your right about one thing, rodeo animals are abused for entertainment, not sport.. rodeo is not a sport and never will be.. it is unfair and one sided!..

  • calves do get their neck broke. cowboys get gored by bulls basicly shit happens. I have never seen it either but they get a video tape of a couple timers where it did happen and they convince everyone that it is common and now look out rodeo's are evil.

there are a few ones I have no use for the wild horse ride is a waste of a horse in my opinion. But thats just my oppinion.

  • Sometimes you see the calf flying through the air as the rope straightens, I'd say these guys are decent though because they decellerate the calf a bit more gently

  • What do you mean, that there is a fine art, I had one of those calf kick me once, they aint all good.

  • thats effing cruel.

  • Why do people find this entertaining? I see it as nothing more than a cruel, inhumane sport.....we humans should be ashamed....

  • poor cow
