I think Joe B is laying back on these songs from this concert and not trying to overdue it and step on the songs toes so to speak. Kind of playing it more along how the original was w/ EC. Shows you how good Clapton was in his hey day with Cream playing his melodic ways. We all Joe B can rip it up when he wants to. IMHO
what was so amazing about clapton? Why was he THE best ? Joe is a technically better guitarist by a mile yet eric when playing cream stuff was simply the best in the world. To meJoe is an amazing guitarist dont get me wrong and i have bought all his albums but his tone isnt quite right for this song.Where is the gibby marshall bite ?
