  • and I !!

  • It is weird how they try to disociate Wagner from nazism when in fact they are linked in a very slight way but Wagner magnificense is linked to nazi search of axiomatic heroes that allows them to justify their pursuits in this world at that time thanks to Heidegger statements. However, the world should be more cool about such relationship, why nobody cries for the cathars, the native american indians, or the blacks who were exterminated also in different periods of humanity. Only jews count???

  • @TheDaxindex That's an interesting perspetive, but I would like to bring to your attention that the winner always writes history. Nazism is largely disintegrated from the world because those who are more sympathetic to their victims, that is to say Jewish people, defeated the Nazis.

As an American, I can only speak from my own perspective. I can say that Native Americans were cruely treated but have largely gone unnoticed in the world because they generally keep to themselves.

  • @TheDaxindex I mean to say that most Native American tribes do not value written language or history as much as many other cultures, and therefore the only view we have as a society is that which was written by our society, which is obviously terribly biased. In the same light I would say that had the Axis powers won the second World War, we only see their cruelties from their perspective and it wouldn't be so horrific.

  • @TheDaxindex Lastly I want to simply point out that in the U.S.A, African American Slavery is a part in our history which does not go unnoticed, to say the least. Perhaps the reason the rest of the world doesn't hear as much about them is because they were largely illiterate until less than a century ago, and so they couldn't provide accounts of the cruelty they were dealt until fairly recently. I don't think it's a case of Jewish people being more important.

  • @vessc I totally agree with you. I am agaisnt nazism and any other type of totalitarism in this world. I think that in the 20th century we gave more significance to them as the most evil government in history when in fact the attrocities and killings of Stalin and Mao were more important in numbers. What is dangerous of nazism aside from other cruel governments and that scares historians, is the phylosophy that lies beneath between an occult esoteric utopia and the recklees action of humanity.

  • My take on Wagner is simple. I ignore the history, I ignore the man, for

Wagner was truly disgusting. I even do a Bruckner (my favourite composer and a disciple of WAgner) and ignore Wagner's texts, stories.

And i simply enjoy the music.

the dictum abusus non tollit usum applies here, even if Wagner abused his own musical talent by linking it with rabid jew hating.

so i ignore all that. and why not?

  • Wow! This looks and sound like a major event in a right direction. How long have it been available?!
