Lanceymon, they've had many, many, many, many concerts there of equal or greater attendance and the floor never collapsed. This is the first time it's happened.
Mmkay.. This accident came down to money and I can prove it. I am a carpenter, like jesus was. By code, with 50% STANDING area a floor is deemed high occupancy and therefore needing stronger joists. So, does it make sense to you that it costs WAY more money for stronger floors? When the church was built, someone (probably the pastor) made the decision to add a few more rows of pews to meet low occupancy code and save MONEY, not lives. ACHEMS RAZOR!HA! in your face god!
big problem there bud...it is Ochaam's Razor...so what if the Pastor didn't invest a lot of money in pues...i'm pretty sure they didn't expect this rockin hard band to be there with a wack of people doing the pogo stick for Jesus...sheesh, maybe u need to do some more research and have some sympathy. And God performed many miracles at the thing of which many people will have an amazing testimony!
If any of them died, they are in a better place......a few floors down in a dusty hole-HAAA!!! Why didn't Jesus rush in throw some extra support on the beams before they gave? I heard that he is always watching? Maybe he had another appointment to appear on a Dorito or something.
people have to go through trials in life and overcome them. God does wonders for people. These people were all tested including the band. Now they have this awesome testimony to share...Jesus is the only way to live...and some day maybe u will stop bein clouded by the world and see that...i pray for u...regardless of what u say!!!
Starfield is more than a Christian Rock Band...they are a worship band...and those people in the accident were out there giving there hearts for something they believe in, as do i. It should leave u think at how great God really is. He didn't let one person die there...so what if the floor collapsed, guess what, life is full of crap...its how u deal with it that matters...I pray for u.

I was there fell in as well. i was rushed to the hospital for minor injuries, i had a 8 inch gash up my leg from it!

I live in Abbotsford, too, everyone was saying all, "yeah, you should come to this concert", but I skipped, thank god, hah.

I'm very sorry about what happened that night, and I'm praying for each of you that were there and experienced that. Thank God no one got killed.

Well, it's great that no one was killed. I know a few people who were there and one or two with minor injuries.
I don't think it was a miracle. I think it was just luck no one died.
