it's really impressive how clear he sounds through that wire. I broke my jaw and I've been wired shut for about 3 weeks now, I still don't sound as great as he does. pretty inspirational
I love the OLD Kanye and fans don't think you're a "true fan" just for saying he never changed because if you were a true fan, you'd know he did. Before he was broke just like us. He sung about real problems that we could comprehend with. Now he's rich and he raps about versace couches and cars. I still love Kanye, mainly because I know he's the best in the game.
I hate all the shit Kanye gets now. How he sucks or how he has an ego. Kanye is one of the best out there right now, anyone can rap about dumb broads shaking their asses, but Kanye raps about his experiences. Hell, he wrote this song while his mouth was wired shut! He makes the kinds of songs that old a lot of meaning, especially his older ones. They're the kind of songs you listen to over and over, every day!
@pwnurmom1217 ye he said it in reference to how his girlfriend was imagining he looked post-accident: either dead or crazy messed up (after the accident she was "on the plane scared as hell that her guy looked like emmit till")
did he say something about emmit till? because we saw a video about him and they showed the body after he got murdered and a girl almost passed out....
anyone who didnt know "if you could feel how my face felt, you would know how ma$e felt" is a reference to ghostface breakin mase's jaw for runnin his mouth
iv got a plate in my jaw too, my injury was nowhere near as severe as kanyes but he deserves mad props for being able to spit through the wire like that, because having your jaw shut down on you can drive you beserk
@citizenscots89 Cont. I respect your opinion, but I believe the production was better on his first three, but particularly his first two. You don't have to drastically change your style plus what I miss the most is the realness: the issues he rapped about, the content, the depth of lyrics. Also, he leans on the beats and hooks to carry the songs. On his old albums, the beats were great but, to me, the rhyming was better than the beat or the hook. That's the Kanye I miss.
@citizenscots89 First, last time I checked every song on the College Dropout was not the same; every song on Late Registration was not the same and last time I checked I didn't feel Kanye changed his style that much at all from the College Dropout to Late Registration and people found both very good. It wasn't boring at all. You can keep the same style, content, and values in produce different sounding albums. Lil Wayne regurgitates verses and beats, which is completely different..........
people saying they miss the old kanye cause he's changing his style with every album if you want some pussy churning out the same boring shit every single album then go listen to lil wayne! Kanye is the best producer in the game at the moment and his rapping has been pretty tight lately to although i love this track i do prefer the new kanye his production is so much better and his lyrics are awesome tracks like gorgeous and devil in a new dress and his verse on new day and thats my bitch!
@citizenscots89 I agree with you 100% ON ALL POINTS. He is the best producer in the game and his lyrics on My dark twisted fantasy shows that as a rapper he has potential to be top 5.
You know what guys, sure "Old" Kanye was amazing with College Dropout and Late Registration, but still, "New" Kanye is still keeping up if not better with Watch The Throne. Come on, WTT is one of the best and most lyrical album ever in rap/hip-hop history.
@Joosshh3 its not lyrical, but its the best of 2011, for lyrical goes to Bad meets evil - hell the sequal, and the best lyricist album is marshall mathers, best rappers are big l, nas, jay z, and andre 3000, EM too. my opinion. btw WTT is really not lyrical.
Kanye fell hard with 808 and heartbreak piece of shit, because he was abusing autotuning, but his last album wasnt that bad. College Dropout still the best one.

I remember hearing Kanye for the first time with this song my freshmen year of high school. College Dropout and Late Registration were the only cd's played in my car til I graduated haha

shutup with the racial insults the intro is to make sure the vid doesent get taken down besides its only 5 seconds long u still have the full song and if u have a problem fuck off and buy it on itunes and stop being assholes and complaining about a great song
Dark Fantasy was a masterpiece, the best since his his first one. Dark Fantasy is a REAL hip hop album and I go as far as calling it a classic. Kanye has some serious lyrics on that one, ESPECIALLY Gorgeous.... he goes IN on that one.
Dumbass people saying they miss "this" Kanye West. He's still fucking here, just because the media makes him out to be a monster doesn't mean he actually is. Who gives a shit that he dissed some shitty country singer?
@ovechtricky no, listen to his new songs and compare them to his old ones. I'll give you an example from Family Business "Keep your nose out the sky, keep your heart to God
And keep your face to the risin' sun" two lines from his new songs: Runaway (film) "You can learn from Jesus but you can learn a lot from Satan. Satan, Satan, Satan." Monster-"Less talk more head right now huh, and my eyes more red then the devil is"... We want the old faithful and moral Kanye not a devil worshipper
@SuperOriginalGuy hes not a devil worshiper, the first line is saying you can learn a lot from satan because he means you learn from mistakes. everybody knows you learn best from mistakes. so when tempted by satan if you fall you can learn a lot from it. the 2nd one is not worshiping him at all its a simple comparison of color.
@YoungHawz hell no. Did you hear his last album? It wasn't voted album of the year by every critic for nothing. It's amazing and probably his best actually. He just progresses like all the great artists instead of doing the same thing over and over.
@ovechtricky I don't care that he dissed Taylor Swift, Its about musical content and new Kanye sucks hard, College Drop Out is amazing and you can't compare his new shit to this!
@whynot77777777 Even though MBDTF is his worst selling record and It is definitely not the "greatest reviewed "hip hop album of all time. Don't know where you got that shit and The College Dropout was also revered as one of hip hops greatest albums and critical MBDTF was reviewed as a pop album by both The Washington Post and The Independent hahaha
@Njzfinest you expected him to do exact same shit that he's doing on college dropout? he EVOLVED but at least he did it in a more than acceptable way, unlike 99% of the upcoming talents...
@Njzfinest what the fuck are you expecting him to sound like? rap like he's still a middle class kid who's trying to make it with his beats? man get the fuck outta here, have you listened to his new shit? he's widened his scope, sorry if you don't bother to listen to his lyrics, he's still as genuine as always
@Njzfinest Uh, have you not heard See Me Now? he still has that soulful vibe in him, but he PURPOSEFULLY aims to progress artistically. Have you never heard Dark Fantasy??? that song is the most epic thing he's ever created. he's still an amazing artist, whether you want to see that or not.
@Njzfinest kanye got better at his craft, obviously you haven't given his new music a chance, it just got a lot darker and a lot sadder . but his production got more intricate with a wider variety of genres in the samples used , and his lyrics got alot deeper . ye got better bro
@Njzfinest 4real though, theres this perception now with groups like kanye and jay-z and YMCMB that all u gotta do is rap about how rich you are, what the hell happened to this stuff?
@TotalBeast93 Jay-Z said it best on "what more can i say?" they have everything now, before they had the hunger and drive but now they have nothing to talk about
@Campbell167 haha your gay as hell kid lol. its a 10 second intro. get the fuck over it. and if you dont know pete rock then you know absolutely nothing about hip hop. so get the fuck out
And Vevo don't even have he's first song on 'their' playlist...

@Njzfinest kanye got better at his craft, obviously you haven't given his new music a chance, it just got a lot darker and a lot sadder . but his production got more intricate with a wider variety of genres in the samples used , and his lyrics got alot deeper . ye got better bro
