I'll let know that a centipede sting is far worse when it have eggs (for some reason) and stories from other people who had the unfortunate joy of being bitten/stung by one more than once in there life (i got stung by a baby Centipede around the age of nine and i never EVER wanted another one let alone an ADULT to sting me, and the darker they are makes the sting so much worse, and LOOK at the one in the video looking like Darth Vader with multiple legs!!

Insects, arachnids, myriapods and some other critters however, are all arthropods. Calling a centipede an insect is like calling a bee an arachnid, which of course is wrong :)

I live in a sandy rural area and these things roam around all over as if it were a flea market. The ones in my area are more of a golden color with dark stripes. I got stung (bitten) by one while I picked up a load of laundry. The pain lasted about 2 days. These arachnids are hard to kill, even if you step on them they still survive. You basically have to "squash" the S**t outta them. They are pretty scary to look at too.
