my songs are souped up versions of charles k william's after the ball 1893 but instead of 3 6 line verses i've used 6 3 line verses and alternate one of two words like the 1st time through i may say country the 2cnd time through i may say country road usually after the first hook in 2cnd verse they sing straight through twice for 3:00 darren

i got to meet hank once in nashville the last time i lived there in 1993 and there's so much to say about someone sometimes when they're like that i hope to be the hank cochran of new wave someday! kirk roth is one of my older brothers i lived with him in nashville after high school and for my graduation present he gave me some songwriting books...rather loaned them to me! i'd been writing songs since i was 9 and i hid them forever from my family cause of them being punk
