I was never for any of the bailouts. These corporations should have been sent to structured bankruptcy, bonus contracts would be null and void, and assets sold off to pay for debt. Pandit got his job based on Robert Rubin's reccommendation. Robert Rubin was Clinton's Treasury secretary who orchestrated the repeal of the Glass-Steagall act. Shortly there after he went to work for Citibank. Rubin was quietly forced out in January 09 with a 9 million bonus to boot!
