Sweden was a great power and fought many wars hundreds of years ago.

Finland fought Soviet Union twice and Nazi Germany once, all in 6 years. It's a bit different for a great power to fight other great powers than a small nation fight a monster nation with an army of millions. But hey, I love Sweden and I'm finnish. However Finland's history in the 20th century was undoubtetly more difficult than peaceful Sweden's. I'm proud to have such great neighbours.
