@RobertLoungDick and to the rest - you both have good points - it's always annoying when someone who's not really good at singing stands near you and blares into your ear for the whole show, on the other hand - I'm pretty sure the spectacle of thousands and thousands of people singing together must look great from the stage. Still, chances are it won't really be exactly on key and tempo.
