So sorry to hear this. Sitting here watching some of your posts. I too had a pet duck. When I was a kid,they used to give ducks and chicks away as Easter. I got one and he was raised with my dog. We took them to our lake house, looking like the Beverly Hillbillies traveling to our 2nd home. Everyone hearing a duck quacking when we stopped along the way. Cherokee loved to swim at the lake, and would always flap his wings to catch the dog and ride out of the water on his back. Good memories.

Just found out Flapper isn't alive anymore. Flapper was such a good duck. He was a very well trained duck also. My heart is with Flapper and his family. Everyone will miss him very badly. My heart bleeds for flapper even though I just watch him in videos. I deeply love ducks. Please, Family of Flapper, Keep videos of your other ducks on video and youtube. I'm deeply saddened as I know you are too over Flapper.Best wishes to you and your ducks there. Flapper remains in everybody's heart forever.
i'm so sorry about Flapper :( my Cuddles died on december 31st, 2007 around 8:00pm. he was about 8 years old. i still have Waddles, and i believe that he's twelve now, so he's getting pretty old too.
i know that it's so hard to get over the fact that he's gone.... i remember that Cuddles used to give me duck hugs. he'd throw his neck over my shoulder and just stay there for the longest time :')

What is that noise he made at 2:07? My duck makes that noise as well but I have no idea what it means.

So sorry for your loss of a cute pet duck Flapper....as of now, we have a pet duck named Maxx...hope he will live longer with us.
