Hed PE was so the band in high school that got wannabe gangsters into something else becides rap. I like how the singer just flows in his hood rap into something heavy and does it all legit. few can pull that off. Saw them once in hollywood, really good live.

@srhdgaf586 Yeah but were do you live? I grew up in L.A and if you go to metal shows at least in the late 90's you would see White power, Latino gangs, pretty much everything man. Believe it or not a lot of gangsters in L.A like heavy music. Fuck man Ozzfest in 1997 in Southern Cali I saw just as many Mexican gangs as I did white power, that shit was crazy, there was people moshing around bon fires. Southern Cali metal scene was CRAZY back in the day.

The first album is amazing, Blackout and Broke suck., Only in America is alright at periods of time, Insomnia and the few one are pretty awesome. I agree Trauma is jackson have made the music heavier, and more awesome. It has a more punk/thrash feel to it, less nu metal crap.

I wish they would go back to doing songs about Aliens and smoking weed than bitching about the govt. I like their new stuff too but god damn, this album just slays.

Man, I wish they had the same guitarist from this album still. This is THE metal/punk/hip-hop album. So fucking great it should be illegal! The 90's is where it was at, I hope the 10's will be better. Is the 10's the right way to put it? lol

@TheMorbidmirage --> New World Orphans & Truth Rising have to be 2 of their best albums, as far as metal/punk/rip hop goes.... now that Trauma is with them, shit has def gotten harder!!!! Mark & Jaxson are beyond talented & Jahred just keeps getting better with time.... hats off to such an AMAZING, TALENTED band, and for spreading the truth like a plague!!!!!!!!! TRUTH IS RISING!!!!!!!
