  • Nice

  • the 2nd coming is not separated from the judgment---thank you very much---i concur

  • L O L! AWESOME VID <3333

  • HAHAHA SHAKALAKA~ ahah very very refreshing video. thank ya for this :)

  • Thank you, well said. Their are so many clowns doing exactly what you are saying not to do its out of control.

  • This is awesome!! Well put!! Amen and amen and amen!! God is GOOD!!!

  • Luke 17:20-21 (NIV) Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you."

  • "And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer; concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged."

    (John 16:8-11 ESV)

  • This. Was. Awesome!! Well done, sir.

  • "That is bad Christian B movie theology." Hahahahahah

  • The only judgement you can have is self judgement?

Haven't you ever read "Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "if anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb."" (Revelations 14:9-10)?

  • @mvdbergrede Notice they'll not be tormented in "eternal separation from the Lamb" but "in the presence of the Lamb." God is love. To some people He's a consuming fire of pleasure. To those who refuse to trust, He's a fire of consuming torment. If you wanna be paranoid and fearful of God - refusing to trust His goodness - then you can have all the judgment you want (the delusional idea that LOVE is a bad guy).

  • My Brother, as always,

WONDERFULLY explained! And soooo funny especially the part about you being paranoid of the rapture as a kid-- so was I!!!!

Dude, PLEEEEEAAAASSSSSEEEEEEEEEE come back to ATL GA and do another thing like the Religious Detox Tour because I MISSED IT!!!!!!! (Had to go to a wedding)

Come back to the East Coast and release the kingdom!!!!!!

  • Prophet Bob Jones had a hundred year vision of the future of the church. I trust him better than Harold Camping or most of the other rapture theorists out there. Even Sir Isaac Newton predicted the end of the world after 2060.

  • bless each of you but if someone has from the word of God something that might challenge johns message why make jokes/ why not pray and answer....that what JESUS would do...

  • wow this is sooo good. blessings bro!

  • we can see that...

this stuff is not so clear, the revelation of Jesus and the finished works of the Cross is *very* clear. So, which will we build a hard line theology around? Obviously the one that we were told clearly about and the one which trumps or eclipses any other revelation past, present or future... the Cross of Jesus Christ and His resurrection!

(Sorry this string of posts is kind of in reverse order and so long! ;) Hope it helps someone.) God Bless...

  • in the fact... that He is keeping my lamp trimmed and burning for me and working all things together for my good! As John pointed out, this isn't a license to be lazy, but a license to rest in blissful busy-ness worked out from Him working His good will and work through us (Eph 2:10)!

The point is we don't have a whole lot of clear descriptions of the end times. Jesus told about it in parables and the book of Revelation speaks about it with a lot of symbolic imagery. We can see that ...

  • 10 virgins told by...

Jesus where some waited until the last hour and then at the last moment asked for some oil for their lamps. Some people say oh, I'll get right with God later in life so I can party now, not realizing that the *real* party is in Christ! :D I used to be afraid I wasn't "keeping my lamp trimmed and burning" as the song goes. But I realize now that this turns being ready for Christ's return into a Pharasaical work of legalism! All we do now is rest with faith in the fact..

  • whatever and others will be... "sucked out of their pants" ;) to be safely whisked away is inferring a lot from this passage. It is to begin to draw hard lines about a speculation on end times theology which John did caution us about in this video.

This is me just speculating... but these verses may simply be referring to the second coming and not putting off becoming a Christian until its too late. There is also a parable of 10 virgins told by ...

  • will simply be an extension...

of this amazing climax which has already happened. Whatever happens in the "end times", the climax of it is already over! The climax was the finished work of the Cross!

As for Mat 24:40-41 John didn't comment on directly in the video, but he did speak about the fallacy of "rapture" in the video. To assume this passage clearly states a "rapture" of the kind where there are some left behind to face a millenia or whatever and others will be...

  • He's just saying whether or not any anti-Christ or other...

endtime happening comes about it will be as *nothing* in comparison with Jesus Christ and what He's done for us at the Cross! And when truly revelational revelations happen it will always be about Jesus Christ. So, there is nothing to fear about end times. Anything other than the revelation of Jesus Christ is truly *insignificant*! The significant already happened at the Cross and the return of Christ will simply be an extension..

  • @valjbaby90 and any others still left with questions about end times passages or John's video here... If after watching this you still have questions like 'What about Mat 24:40-41... what does that mean then'? And, "Are you saying there isn't any anti-Christ coming?"

Correct me if I'm wrong please, because I don't want to misrepresent, but I think what John is saying is not that there is or isn't going to be any anti-Christ... He's just saying whether or not any anti-Christ or other...

  • so good, swear totally missed acts 10:28, what a verse

  • So good!

  • "the gays"

    lol

  • I got caught up (excuse the pun) in dogmatic end time teaching about 10 years ago - it was a real headfunk LOL!

  • I love the song at the end. What is it called?

  • @ZeraMalkuth R.E.M.- it's the end of the world as we know it

  • FANTASTIC John!! Great to hear some sense spoken about these issues - you're a good boy!

  • 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 1 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness[a] is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.

  • @valjbaby90 Jesus has not returned yet.

  • 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

  • @valjbaby90 Sounds like a naughty boy!

  • i'm sorry, I'm not understanding you want us to take what your saying into consideration but not this? Can some one please explain?

  • and this

    1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever

  • @valjbaby90 Sounds like fun!

  • So why does the bible say this? Matthew 24:40-41

Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left

  • @valjbaby90 Tell ya what, I'll explain it to you after it happens! LOL

  • SOO Good!!!

  • Legalism -the mind traps....stay out of it...look to enJOYing God

  • Idk if your high but u speak the truth..

  • I'll just stay happy and bask in His goodness in the meantime. Shakka-bonky!

  • Just gotta give a massive shaka to just relaxing in Jesus. Pretty amazing stuff just walking out the full logic of the grace message. Jesus and Him crucified and all this before time, pretty fun stuff, people can have their hell if they want it, but I got some news to tell them of their true nature!:) love u all!

  • I am not mad at my upbringing I would not be where I am without God placing me there for that time, but the Hocus Pocus Christianity of fearful end time and hateful vengeful God that was apart of it really messes alot of young people up. I see God doing away with that quite abit in these days.

  • I like this video, just so you know :)

But I have to ask. Are you saying the the anti-christ will not come?

  • bingo! nail on the head...or through the hand.

  • ...does this mean I can't wear my tinfoil hat anymore?

  • hey Jesus come takes us now do waits till sat...haeeeewwww yeah
