@superpokebenz yeah and in the ps1 version if you go into first persion version and go into the center office spot and look around you'll see a play station 2 controller
You can get the thermal goggles on the 1st floor of the first building. They are in a room up on the catwalk, but you can just use the smoke from Snake's cigs to see the beams.
ls4ever999 ,did you try the SECOND floor of the Tank Hangar? I don't mean the second floor basement, I actually mean the second floor, the one with the "catwalk". There's a level 4 security door which remains closed after your fight against Ocelot. But if you have a level 4 PAN card, you can use that to open that security door on the second floor. That door is where you'll find the Thermal Googles.
Armor is anything harden that guards the body. If you can't tell that Gray Foxes body is armor, no one can help you. Plus, Gray Fox suit is an exoskeleton which means what? It's something that harden that guards the body which is classified as armor. Added, he is a Cyborg Ninja. Cyborgs are made of an harden structure, which isn't skin. Some may have flesh over them though like The Terminator.
Make your research again, you generalist fool. Gray Fox's exoskeleton wasn't really meant to "gaurd" his body, but to keep him alive. Besides, you have yet to study the material that his exoskeleton was made, before you make anymore claims.
No, you're just an idiot. His body is made out of a metal material. But since you tried using your failure information by saying the suit was made to keep his body alive, which is true, I have something for you to sink inside of your small brain. The fact that Raiden's suit, which is based on Gray Fox's suit as well, was made to guard him and not to keep him alive yet I guess this means nothing as well? Fox's suit isn't skin or clothing like, it's a harden material which is armor. Both are armor
Added, the suit wasn't made just to keep him alive. If you remember, Gray Fox was able to open and close his mask. Doing so, when he closed it, it guards his whole face. What does this mean? Guarding by an object around the body? ARMOR.
"His body is made out of a metal material." Where exactly did you get that information from? Reveal me your game. "The fact that Raiden's suit, which is based on Gray Fox's suit as well..." Do you mean that Gray Fox exoskeleton that Raiden wears in the VR Trainning of 'Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance'? That's merely an extra, for cryin' out loud! And we were talking about Gray Fox himself, not Raiden, remember?
Where exactly did you get that information from? Reveal me your game.
I can only guessed that you're blind and think that his suit is made out of flesh of some short? False, it's not. In fact, Solidus Snake suit is also very similar to Gray Fox's. Also, it's bullet proof.
Do you mean that Gray Fox exoskeleton that Raiden wears in the VR Trainning of 'Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance'?
No. I guess you've not played MGS4 yet? The doctor whom made Fox's suit also made Raiden's.
#1- I never said it was made of flesh, don't be a presumptious fool. I'm saying that it could be some sort of non metallic material (the exoskeleton, not the helmet).
#2- The smilarity is only in outter appearance, not in the whole thing. Plus, Gray Fox's exoskeleton wasn't bullet proof (if it was, he wouldn't need to defend himsefl with the katana).
#3- Mis-information ALERT! The doctor who made Gray Fox's exoskeleton was Doctor Clark. The doctor who helped Raiden was Doctor Madnar.
1) Actually, the helmet is attached to the suit. With that being said, the helmet has a piece on it like the colour of some of the suit.
2) False. Solidus deflected bullets with his arm. But when Ocelot started firing from Ray, he blocked them with his swords instead of blocking them with his arms. Besides, Gray Fox probably deflected them because his helmet was opened.
3) True. I was wrong. Still, all the armor suits are very close to Gray Fox's.
1-) When are you going to say "exoskeleton" instead of suit? I mean, only immature fanboys use that term on this thing.
2-) I was talking about Gray Fox, not Solidus Snake. Besides, you're only making a theoretical explanation about the reason why Gray Fox deflected those bullets with the katana, but you're not providing solid evidence, which is what i'm demanding.
3-) You need to visit your eye doctor, because nobody in the game stated that Raiden's outfit was based on Gray Fox's.
Oh, I'm a fanboy because I use a different term? Bullshit.
It's Solid enough. You've asked why, and I've gave you an answer. You just cannot get it through your head. The fact that Gray Fox body held up against Rex, yet his body is no match for bullets? Rex is armed with Vulcan's. An assault rifle like Snake used on Solidus and a Vulcan are two different guns
Actually, it is. Naomi sees a random suit, which isn't based on Gray Fox's, yet there's a flashback of Gray Fox because of a man wearing a suit that's not based on Gray Fox, and has nothing to do him with? The flashbacks are there for a reason. Beside that, you tell me now to use suit yet you've used outfit?
1-) Most of the Metal Gear Solid fanboys say "suit", instead of exoskeleton, which is the correct term. An exoskeleton isn't something you can just take it off.
2-) Exactly in what comment did you read me saying "outfit"? Specify it, please.
3-) If you payed attention to the butchered The Twin Snakes version, you would see that one of REX's bullets dashed through Gray Fox's exoskeleton. Don't ask me, ask the writting staff.
4-) The flashbacks are just extras for the fans, nothing more.
You call me a fanboy, but you're using a game that isn't canon. Second, it only dashed across his back. The lead wasn't aiming straight forward, as to enter the body, it caught a slight bit of his back and slid off. By all means, if you wish to use Twin Snakes, it proves Gray Fox's suit is bullet proof.
1-) That's because Olga wasn't wearing a cybernetic ninja armor (not an exoskeleton) and Solidus Snake wasn't even a cyborg, unlike Gray Fox. If Gray Fox was actually foolish enough to take off his exoskeleton, he wouldn't last very long, I can assure you that.
2-) You're talking about real life exoskeletons, but we're discussing a game, remember?
3-) "Outfit"? I don't remember writting this. Has somebody been using my YouTube account?
4-) Ya he's not bullet proof...the only reason he doesn't get hit by bullets is because of his high-frequency blade and because of his sharp reflex's...it's like saying when he was Null he was bullet proof which he wasn't...he deflected the bullets with his Machete just like he did with his high-frequency blade...so
filipeflower was right.
Sorry about butting in just thought i would say that.
Wrong. Cutscenes are canon. If they hold nothing more than being for the fans, how come they're only showed at a certain area of the game? Example, when you fighting Liquid Ocelot when he slowly changes to Liquid Ocelot and Ocelot they show cutscenes "to remind you of past events they're tied into the game.
But that principle doesn't apply to every situation,. Most of the flashbacks' objective is to bring a reminder for the fans (like Sniper Wolf's screenshot appearing on Crying Wolf, for example).
Yeah I really liked that fight, though I thought the fight was bit too easy for an enemy as strong as Fox. It should have more been like the fight against Liquid on top of Rex, which had a proper difficulty level if you played the game on a higher difficulty.
greyfox is frank something ( i forget lol ) and he died in mgs1 , then olga gurlukovitch uses the ninja suit in mgs2 and raiden is using the exoskelteton in mgs4.
No offence to Rob Paulsen who did a cool job in Twin Snakes, but Greg Eagle's performance will ALWAYS be the definitive voice for Fox/Ninja its just incredible!
you can expect fox to do the crazy stuff in TTS but not snake,in TTS when fighting gray fox he hits fox like 30 feet through a window, backflips a missile and (laughingly)tries to dropkick metal gear
I dont deny peoples right to like the original over twin snakes, I myself prefer the original. But some people really need to mask their fanboyism. Complaining about the cutscenes seeming like the Matrix? Have you people played the sequels? Dont you see thats the way Metal Gear Solid has been headed for a long time? Have you actually seen the Vamp+Raiden fight in the MGS4 trailer? A lot of the twin snakes criticism I have seen stinks of Nintendo hate and fanboy bitchin.
It's not because of Nintendo, for your information. In fact, Solid Snake had two N.E.S games in the past. But it's because of the way they chose to remake the game.
Well, as long as that criticism about the "way it was reemade" doesnt relate to the same "unrealistic matrix-esque" that is present in the sequels, your not a hypocrite in my opinion. Personally though, while I consider the original better, it doesnt stop me from enjoying the many improvements MGS:TS made over the original. And I am aware of MGS history on previous consoles.
Yeah, while I didnt play them personally, I am more than aware of the history behind MGS. I dont see why this is relevant though, as it has nothing to do with my problem of hating those criticisms of Twin Snakes being unrealistic, when the sequels are no different.
Ocelot being possessed by Liquids arm is pure fantasy and in the real world is absolute bullshit. There is no argument there. It is not physically possible for an arm transplanted onto another body to be able to take control. Its total nonsense. That fact in and of itself is more "unrealistic" than any of Twin Snakes flashy "Matrix-style" cutscenes, which the sequels also employ anyway.
And besides..."Guns of the Patriots" will explain Liquid Ocelot's mysterious possession. And Olga's daughter (Sunny) and the truth behind The Patriots will also be explained. And "The Twin Snakes" would be a recommended game (in my oppinion), if they just remade the cutscenes as they were in the original game. Of course, they had to add the "Metal Gear Solid 2 GamePlay" to expand it.
Ocelot is a medium. Hence he can talk to spirits, which science can't prove wrong (it's like trying to prove God's existence).
Ocelot got an arm transplanted on to him, which belong to the strongest clone they created, who just died, and some how Ocelot managed to get contact with Liquid Snake. Liquid later found a way to brake through Ocelot's mind and gain control.
Their is nothing that can prove this "theory" wrong. But of course it's just fictional.
Compaird to what Solid Snake does in the other games TTS IS unrealistic. Solid Snake backfliping a missile?
When i told my friends about TTS they got shity surprised. Nothing they knew about Solid Snake was in TTS. Simply: Solid Snake don't do acrobatic stunt's. He simply moves away if you shot at him, not jump around like he's Neo!
He does a "spinning jump backward" becasue raven shots SHELL AT HIM. The only thing he does is jump backwards so the shell wont hit him! He dosen't backflip it. Mabye it's time for you to play MGS again?
Irrelevant. Its little difference, and it clearly shows you clutching at straws to bitch like a fanboy about a game you shouldnt even care about. You like the original more? So do I. But Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes is technically superior and up to date with the subsequent releases. Therefore it shares their more movie like unrealistic nature. Dont try and single out MGS:TS as a black sheep for unrealism, because that idea is pure nonsense with but a single look at the sequel MGS games.
No, I just corrected your statement. Because it is not the same thing. MGS:TTS is very good in many way's. I like some quotes made by Liquid alot better then the one's in the original. Your simply asuming that I hate TTS because I write negative stuff about it. The voices in TTS is far superior to MGS, with the exeption of Gray Fox's voice.
Though, I do hate thet fact that they made Solid Snake into a bad main character from a chinese martial arts movie!
You need to analyse things more accuratelly, before making such a mis-informed statement. If you watch the original PSOne cutscene again in "Slow-Mo mode", you can see that Snake didn't make a huge backflip to dodge the M1 Tank's shot. He actually turned his back on the tank and then he used a 'backwards flying air kick' and then landed on the ground with his feet. Also, the M1 Tank's cannon wasn't aiming at him. It was actually aimming for the ground near his feet...which created a shockwave.
You need to stop clutching at straws. Seriously, "He backflipped to avoid a tank shell explosion" and "kinda sorta does this backward air kick thing to avoid a tank shell explosion" are so similar its clear you have no real argument. Stop spamming my mailbox with your replies. Either find a proper reason to dislike Twin Snakes and sum it up in one reply, or keep your fanboi nit picking to yourself.
First of all, I'm not spamming you e-mail box, I'm replying on a public forum. Secondly, you said: "kinda sorta does this backward air kick thing to avoid a tank shell explosion". That IS NOT what I said, you def! Read it again carefully. If you think it's the same thing, perhaps you should type [Original Metal Gear Solid fights The Tank]. See it for yourself, you mis-informed fool.
And third, I'm not a fanboy like you and Armchair6 ignorantly said. The GameCube console is nothing for me to pick on. I'm actually picking on the game, not on the game console.
Both Raiden and Vamp are close to immortal, with senses that are far superior to a normal humanbeing. Raiden is enhanced with a super senses because of his new robotic body. Vamp is somewhat like Dare Devil, he can sense what your movment will be before you make it. He can feel the impulses sent from your brain to your muscles.
It's pointless to compaire a cyborg and a Vampire (thingy) with a normal man.... Get me?
So what you are saying is (in reference to the original) Snake didnt stand a chance against Gray Fox? Since he can deflect bullets with his katana, move fast enough to be a blur, and in some cases "blink" from one place to another. Yet snake wins.... Get me?
Please, there is no need to reply any longer. You can dislike Twin Snakes for your own reasons, because you have proven your point. That you nit pick and go in circles.
No, Gray Fox totaly owns you if you use guns against him (apart from the last part of the fight). You do however stand aginst him because you fight him bare handed. And he actually didn't lose the fight, if you noticed, Gray Fox get's sick (only way i can describe it) and latter leaves.
And Raiden's suit and Gray fox's are quite different, if you didn't notice. Raiden's has, like Solidus' suit had, artificial muscle tissue, which makes him alot stronger and faster.
He moved to the left. Away from the bullet. A very normal reaction! He just realised that the knife was modified with a bullet, so when she pointed it at him he moved away
The only reason that is in slow-mo is so that the player could see how close the bullet actually was (showing that Olga was a threat to even Solid Snake himself).
Once again, your distinction is so minute there is very little to differentiate the two, with the only thing being a comparison to a remake game that was realeased many years after the original.
Someone who can clearly see the hypocrisy of holding a grudge against a game for its "unrealistic" scenes, yet ignoring the fact that the sequels employ even more "unrealistic" sequences and plot points. Ill be more than happy to accept valid criticisms of Twin Snakes. After all, I do actually prefer the original. But saying "it was like the Matrix" isnt going to cut it Im afraid.
Cut it as a valid reason to criticise MGS Twin Snakes. Of course, peoples criticisms are their own. They just shouldnt always blurt them out when they dont stand up well, taking into consideration the "unrealistic" nature of any subsequent MGS games. And if your quite finished constantly replying to my comments, Id like to end this "discussion", becuase its going nowhere.
i thk we all know being gray fox fans that gray fox would own raiden any day since mgs 1 theyve always tried replacing gray fox chucking a new ninja in mgs 2 making him say the same things now their doing it with raiden understand this theres only one gray fox and thats the gray fox frm mgs 1 :) THE CLASSIC
Listen. The point of my post--which I thought was VERY obvious...was that, I was surprised that I actually grew to like Gray Fox's new VA (Rob Paulson), over the original. I thought it sounded more fitting to gray fox. and matched him more--in fact, I become used to it--and hearing his original VA again felt awkward and foreign (out of place).
Rob made Gray Fox sound more like a tortured soul seeking death. It seemed to be more fitting.
Gosh, you have no idea what you're talkin' about! Greg Eagles showed a lot more "pain in his voice" than Rob. Especially during hte part when he said: -"A cornered fox is more dangerous than a jackal." Rob sreamed his voice, instead of painfully saying it. It doesn't sound appropriate for somebody stabbed against a wall after beeing loosing an arm.
Oh hell. I've played the original game, get off my fucking ass about it. You've spammed my goddamned PM box with 20 or so messages and it does--in fact piss me off to find it filled to the top with random MGS stuff that has no relevance to anything we're talking about.
Didn't I just say that? I did, didn't I? It's right there, above you. "The original sounded like the DARPA Chief--but with anger." I am obviously well aware of that.
#6- "Snake, watch out! That place is filled with gas! Also, the floor is electrified. First, destroy the high voltage switch. It's the switchboard on the NorthWest wall."
#7- "Use a remote-controlled missile."
#8- "You can't defeat me with WEAPOOONS!"
#9- "Snake, there's a bomb planted in your items. Hurry, throw it away!"
A long time ago? You just sent me something today. :|
Specific? I am being speific. HE sounds like the angry DARPA Chief. Not in SOME places--all the time. Why do you think they changed VA's when Fox's original VA was right there? They sounded too close.
There you have it! You are ignorant of the dates, because you erased them without checking them first. Don't assume things that are untrue. Especially when you don't have any confirmation.

How did Snake punches even hurt him? His body is made of armor, and could withstand two stomps from Rex, and being crushed against the wall?

Not his body but the suit is. He held up Rex, live through being crushed up against the wall, and lived through Rex's first stomp on his back.

Example, when you fighting Liquid Ocelot when he slowly changes to Liquid Ocelot and Ocelot they show cutscenes "to remind you of past events they're tied into the game.
reptile202 2 years ago
But that principle doesn't apply to every situation,. Most of the flashbacks' objective is to bring a reminder for the fans (like Sniper Wolf's screenshot appearing on Crying Wolf, for example).

Yeah I really liked that fight, though I thought the fight was bit too easy for an enemy as strong as Fox. It should have more been like the fight against Liquid on top of Rex, which had a proper difficulty level if you played the game on a higher difficulty.

you can expect fox to do the crazy stuff in TTS but not snake,in TTS when fighting gray fox he hits fox like 30 feet through a window, backflips a missile and (laughingly)tries to dropkick metal gear
NeoGodHand 4 years ago
Gray Fox can:
- Jump at the high of "two crates".
- Use Stealth cammouflage "embedded" in his exoskeleton.
- Hold genome Soldiers "on a stick" (or should I say "on a katana"?)
- Deflect bullets with his katana.
- Use "quick movement" (teleport).
- Dodge bullets.
and finally:
- Backflip after loosing his left arm.
filipeflower 4 years ago
But Solid Snake can't do any of these things (in the original game, that is).
filipeflower 4 years ago
I dont deny peoples right to like the original over twin snakes, I myself prefer the original. But some people really need to mask their fanboyism. Complaining about the cutscenes seeming like the Matrix? Have you people played the sequels? Dont you see thats the way Metal Gear Solid has been headed for a long time? Have you actually seen the Vamp+Raiden fight in the MGS4 trailer? A lot of the twin snakes criticism I have seen stinks of Nintendo hate and fanboy bitchin.
Jownak 4 years ago
It's not because of Nintendo, for your information. In fact, Solid Snake had two N.E.S games in the past. But it's because of the way they chose to remake the game.
filipeflower 4 years ago
Well, as long as that criticism about the "way it was reemade" doesnt relate to the same "unrealistic matrix-esque" that is present in the sequels, your not a hypocrite in my opinion. Personally though, while I consider the original better, it doesnt stop me from enjoying the many improvements MGS:TS made over the original. And I am aware of MGS history on previous consoles.
Jownak 4 years ago
Even those for the MSX ?
filipeflower 4 years ago
Yeah, while I didnt play them personally, I am more than aware of the history behind MGS. I dont see why this is relevant though, as it has nothing to do with my problem of hating those criticisms of Twin Snakes being unrealistic, when the sequels are no different.
Jownak 4 years ago
Not exactly. Those things which appearently are "magical" have a scientific explanation behind them. Such as Revolver Ocelot's posessed arm.
filipeflower 4 years ago
Ocelot being possessed by Liquids arm is pure fantasy and in the real world is absolute bullshit. There is no argument there. It is not physically possible for an arm transplanted onto another body to be able to take control. Its total nonsense. That fact in and of itself is more "unrealistic" than any of Twin Snakes flashy "Matrix-style" cutscenes, which the sequels also employ anyway.
Jownak 4 years ago
"The Twin Snakes" has more "Matrix-styled" slow motion than "Sons of Liberty".
filipeflower 4 years ago
And besides..."Guns of the Patriots" will explain Liquid Ocelot's mysterious possession. And Olga's daughter (Sunny) and the truth behind The Patriots will also be explained. And "The Twin Snakes" would be a recommended game (in my oppinion), if they just remade the cutscenes as they were in the original game. Of course, they had to add the "Metal Gear Solid 2 GamePlay" to expand it.
filipeflower 4 years ago
I really hope they connect the possession with Ocelot's relation to the Sorrow or it'll be very stupid.
L1qu1dSnak3 4 years ago
Ocelot is a medium. Hence he can talk to spirits, which science can't prove wrong (it's like trying to prove God's existence).
Ocelot got an arm transplanted on to him, which belong to the strongest clone they created, who just died, and some how Ocelot managed to get contact with Liquid Snake. Liquid later found a way to brake through Ocelot's mind and gain control.
Their is nothing that can prove this "theory" wrong. But of course it's just fictional.
jerrylionheart 4 years ago
Compaird to what Solid Snake does in the other games TTS IS unrealistic. Solid Snake backfliping a missile?
When i told my friends about TTS they got shity surprised. Nothing they knew about Solid Snake was in TTS. Simply: Solid Snake don't do acrobatic stunt's. He simply moves away if you shot at him, not jump around like he's Neo!
jerrylionheart 4 years ago 2
Hideo Kojima allowed mister Ryuhei to direct the game for him and this was the result.
filipeflower 4 years ago
Im sorry, but do you even recall the first raven encounter? He backflips a fucking tank shell. Please, stop your hypocrital fanboi bitching.
Jownak 4 years ago
He does a "spinning jump backward" becasue raven shots SHELL AT HIM. The only thing he does is jump backwards so the shell wont hit him! He dosen't backflip it. Mabye it's time for you to play MGS again?
jerrylionheart 4 years ago
Jownak 4 years ago
No, I just corrected your statement. Because it is not the same thing. MGS:TTS is very good in many way's. I like some quotes made by Liquid alot better then the one's in the original. Your simply asuming that I hate TTS because I write negative stuff about it. The voices in TTS is far superior to MGS, with the exeption of Gray Fox's voice.
Though, I do hate thet fact that they made Solid Snake into a bad main character from a chinese martial arts movie!
jerrylionheart 4 years ago
And you should try speaking properly, without insults.
filipeflower 4 years ago
You need to analyse things more accuratelly, before making such a mis-informed statement. If you watch the original PSOne cutscene again in "Slow-Mo mode", you can see that Snake didn't make a huge backflip to dodge the M1 Tank's shot. He actually turned his back on the tank and then he used a 'backwards flying air kick' and then landed on the ground with his feet. Also, the M1 Tank's cannon wasn't aiming at him. It was actually aimming for the ground near his feet...which created a shockwave.
filipeflower 4 years ago
You need to stop clutching at straws. Seriously, "He backflipped to avoid a tank shell explosion" and "kinda sorta does this backward air kick thing to avoid a tank shell explosion" are so similar its clear you have no real argument. Stop spamming my mailbox with your replies. Either find a proper reason to dislike Twin Snakes and sum it up in one reply, or keep your fanboi nit picking to yourself.
Jownak 4 years ago
First of all, I'm not spamming you e-mail box, I'm replying on a public forum. Secondly, you said: "kinda sorta does this backward air kick thing to avoid a tank shell explosion". That IS NOT what I said, you def! Read it again carefully. If you think it's the same thing, perhaps you should type [Original Metal Gear Solid fights The Tank]. See it for yourself, you mis-informed fool.
filipeflower 4 years ago
And third, I'm not a fanboy like you and Armchair6 ignorantly said. The GameCube console is nothing for me to pick on. I'm actually picking on the game, not on the game console.
filipeflower 4 years ago
there's no slow motion bullet dodging in mgs2 that look exatly like the matrix
Kikinutkiksass 4 years ago
Well when Olga shoots at snake with the knife it comes pretty close, as its slow motion, and Snake dodges a bullet.
Jownak 4 years ago
he doesn't do that stupid dance dodging 56676 bullets like gray fox does while fighting rex and alot of other times in TTS
Kikinutkiksass 4 years ago
Or that stupid dance fighting Raiden and Vamp do in the MGS4 trailer...... Get me?
Jownak 4 years ago
Both Raiden and Vamp are close to immortal, with senses that are far superior to a normal humanbeing. Raiden is enhanced with a super senses because of his new robotic body. Vamp is somewhat like Dare Devil, he can sense what your movment will be before you make it. He can feel the impulses sent from your brain to your muscles.
It's pointless to compaire a cyborg and a Vampire (thingy) with a normal man.... Get me?
jerrylionheart 4 years ago
So what you are saying is (in reference to the original) Snake didnt stand a chance against Gray Fox? Since he can deflect bullets with his katana, move fast enough to be a blur, and in some cases "blink" from one place to another. Yet snake wins.... Get me?
Please, there is no need to reply any longer. You can dislike Twin Snakes for your own reasons, because you have proven your point. That you nit pick and go in circles.
Jownak 4 years ago
No, Gray Fox totaly owns you if you use guns against him (apart from the last part of the fight). You do however stand aginst him because you fight him bare handed. And he actually didn't lose the fight, if you noticed, Gray Fox get's sick (only way i can describe it) and latter leaves.
And Raiden's suit and Gray fox's are quite different, if you didn't notice. Raiden's has, like Solidus' suit had, artificial muscle tissue, which makes him alot stronger and faster.
jerrylionheart 4 years ago
He moved to the left. Away from the bullet. A very normal reaction! He just realised that the knife was modified with a bullet, so when she pointed it at him he moved away
The only reason that is in slow-mo is so that the player could see how close the bullet actually was (showing that Olga was a threat to even Solid Snake himself).
jerrylionheart 4 years ago
Once again, your distinction is so minute there is very little to differentiate the two, with the only thing being a comparison to a remake game that was realeased many years after the original.
Jownak 4 years ago
Your point?
jerrylionheart 4 years ago
And who do you think you are tu judge this guy ?
filipeflower 4 years ago
Someone who can clearly see the hypocrisy of holding a grudge against a game for its "unrealistic" scenes, yet ignoring the fact that the sequels employ even more "unrealistic" sequences and plot points. Ill be more than happy to accept valid criticisms of Twin Snakes. After all, I do actually prefer the original. But saying "it was like the Matrix" isnt going to cut it Im afraid.
Jownak 4 years ago
Cut what ?
filipeflower 4 years ago
Cut it as a valid reason to criticise MGS Twin Snakes. Of course, peoples criticisms are their own. They just shouldnt always blurt them out when they dont stand up well, taking into consideration the "unrealistic" nature of any subsequent MGS games. And if your quite finished constantly replying to my comments, Id like to end this "discussion", becuase its going nowhere.
Jownak 4 years ago
Why the uncharacteristic cortesy ?
filipeflower 4 years ago
Gosh, you are so close-minded to these facts.
filipeflower 4 years ago
4 years later, actually. It's not really that much. Unless you have the mind of a puppy, 4 years makes "little difference". Exactly as you said.
filipeflower 4 years ago
i thk we all know being gray fox fans that gray fox would own raiden any day since mgs 1 theyve always tried replacing gray fox chucking a new ninja in mgs 2 making him say the same things now their doing it with raiden understand this theres only one gray fox and thats the gray fox frm mgs 1 :) THE CLASSIC

...oh hell.
AntithesisRebirth 4 years ago
Gosh, you have no idea what you're talkin' about! Greg Eagles showed a lot more "pain in his voice" than Rob. Especially during hte part when he said: -"A cornered fox is more dangerous than a jackal." Rob sreamed his voice, instead of painfully saying it. It doesn't sound appropriate for somebody stabbed against a wall after beeing loosing an arm.
filipeflower 4 years ago
It's all subjective, I hope you know that.
Rob showed more pain in his voice...especially in everything that needed it.
The original sounded like the DARPA Cheif--but with anger.
AntithesisRebirth 4 years ago
He only sounded like Donald Anderson when he spoke as Deepthroat. If you had the origianl game, you should know that.
filipeflower 4 years ago
AntithesisRebirth 4 years ago
These are the parts where Gray Fox sounded like Donald Anderson:
#1- "Snake, be carefull. There are Claymore Mines around there. Use a Mine Detector."
#2- "Just call me..."Deepthroat".
#3- "Never mind about that."
#4- "Listen. There's a tank in front of your position waiting to ambush you."
#5- "One of your fans."
filipeflower 4 years ago
#6- "Snake, watch out! That place is filled with gas! Also, the floor is electrified. First, destroy the high voltage switch. It's the switchboard on the NorthWest wall."
#7- "Use a remote-controlled missile."
#8- "You can't defeat me with WEAPOOONS!"
#9- "Snake, there's a bomb planted in your items. Hurry, throw it away!"
#10- "You'll find out soon enough."
