Its one of the busiest stations. Mumbai is one of the busiest in India as far as the suburban trains are concerned, the main reason is because every 3 mins, there is a train. Trains are the life line of Mumbaikars. London is the busiest station in the world.
The only reason its the most crowded is that India doesnt have a modern railway infrastructure with enough railway stations to hold demand... -_-'

the world most busiest train station is at shinjuku station, Japan. they got 3.64million/day . 1st station from Guinness World Records.
