@o0bfc0o Hi, It's a double hit on the bass drum, followed by the right hand on the floor tom, followed by the snare to finish off with. so if K=bass drum, T= floor tom and S=Snare, it's... KKTS, but putting each hit as close together as possible, or basically as fast you can. Hope this helps.
How did you do the 'fill' at 1:51 ish. Almost every band live uses that type of thing after the ending fills, and i would like to know the sticking, or even a tutorial
@thejohnlaco Hi, After the HH short single stroke swell, you simply move over to the floor tom and play a "ruff" (I think it's called), which is 4 fast single strokes (RLRL), and plant your Bass drum directly after it making it a 5 stroke roll ending on the kick. Hope this helps.
@MrBlazer12345 yes I do use a double bass drum pedal. Although I don't consider myself to be the greatest double-kick player, I do find simple techniques like right hand, left-hand, right foot, left foot, very useful.
The rudiments on the snare in examples 6 &9 of are a combination of parradiddles, parradiddle-diddles (six stroke rolls) and double strokes. You can find them in Lesson 5 and 6. Hope this helps? Thanks for watching. Gordy
Good stuff, thanks. What in-ear earphones (model) do you use? Are they good?
