  • hello Lar! Great recording of about 20 years...

    greetings!! 5*

    all the best!

    SUN :)

  • Thank you Sun! Just doing some more archiving of the olden days! Take care!

  • Sue did an Awesome JOb-- You GUys were GReat ON this-- One of my favorite Pretenders songs! Love it Love it!-- Very GOOD--5555

  • @stephystills Hey Steph Many many thanks! Sue did have a great voice... I'm not sure what became of her. I only have these few recordings that have survived. All the best to you! Lar

  • Excellent man!! sounds a bit like the 50tes! love it

  • @GenaralHartman Thanks General! Yes it does sound a bit like the 50's with the low guitar leads... Its an old song from a girl that came from Ohio...She formed the Pretenders and had quite a few hits. Thanks!!!!

  • What this one YouTube invented new???

It isn't possible to give favourite stars only "I like" "I don't like" I am giving on "I like":)

    Great song Lar !

  • @SOMAN1983V Thank you !! Yes I agree...I'm not liking the new format for YouTube...It may take some getting used to it.... Always great to hear from you my friend!!!

  • Again I think it sounds great!!!! Are/were you a fan of the Pretenders? Sue has an excellent voice by the way!!! I don't tnk I like these You Tube changes, where have the stars gone?

  • @classican Thanks Pete. I think if you give a "thumbs up" it register 5 stars, but not sure. I agree, Sue had a great voice for this type of music. It was a short lived version of the band. All I remember is she had a baby and left the band and disappeared from it all. I only have one other recording with her on it,"Different Drum", the old Mike Nesmith tune. I think Linda Ronstadt had the most famous version. The old Boom Box used to do a pretty fair recording...HA

  • oh, and Chrissie Hynde is an old Ohio girl....I believe she was born around Akron Ohio and went to Kent State Univ... but didn't "make it" until she moved to England.....

Of course now Ohio Embraces her ... HA! Ain't that the way it always is...

  • Ha! Oh, I remember these old cassette tapes very well... :)

    lovely recording, Lar!

I can't give you 5 stars anymore, but I pressed "thumb up".... :)

    Lilly

  • Thank you Lilly! Yes the quality is deteriorating on the tapes very fast because of their age... trying to save them I guess more for me then anything else, that's why I didn't get too fancy on the video...I'm glad you liked it!!! Lar
