  • mp36ph: you better catch up!!!

f40ph: oh wait WAIT FOR MEEEEEEEE !!!!! :(

  • US makes so many remakes of the go train !!!

  • that is just like Toronto GO station, same cars but they have the bigger locos MP40PH-3Cs

  • i wish they were electrified and as far as i know they are planning to very soon.

  • What city is that ?

  • @eaglehockey16: It's in Sunnyvale, very close to the border with Santa Clara.

  • @cchan006 Thank You

  • this is baby bullshit train

  • Do they still have the baby bullet train, that only has the baby bullet car in the front, but they use the original silver cars as the passenger cars?

  • @dancena2: You mean a mixed consist? I haven't seen one, and I haven't heard of anyone seeing one recently.

  • @cchan006 Yeah.

  • @cchan006 Like the video of SatsC2

  • @cchan006 Oh ok, bec. now there is a local train with bombardier cars.

  • Gotta Love the MP36's

  • in 2014, Caltrain will all be electrified, when they Get the High speed train working on.

  • what kind of horn is that

  • ukulayliue

  • @Cutiepie53065 That is a Nathan P-2.

  • Wow, great to see the old and the new together.

  • Nice catch. 5+

  • A small version of these cars are also used by New Jersey Transit. They are bi-level, but not as high. They are a bit shorter and they have high platform-level doors located where the mezanine level is on the standard Bombardiers. Trains4ever8 is correct: they are used by AMT (The Montreal Transit Authority, in English). If you want to see video of Sounder bi-levels being pulled by Amtrak, check my page or search: Empire Builder Carrying Seattle Sounder Cars

  • boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I agree, the Bombardier cars are way sexier. You can find them not only on CalTrain but Metrolink (which I ride), GO Transit, Sounder, ACE and Coaster systems. There's probably one or two more I'm not aware of that use them.

  • Oh -- and the TRE in Dallas-Fort Worth.

  • dont forget that amt use them 2! lol

  • hellow tri rail, rail runner and the front runner in salt lake city(its new) amtrak don't use them.

  • i didnt say amtrak i said amt look in my channel

  • you did to look you said dont forget amt(amtrak) use them to lol!

  • amt and amtrak are 2 compnies diferent amt is a commuter train company in montreal and amtrak is commuter and traveling long distance company in usa and montreal (central station)

  • @CreoleCW Oh! there's the west coast express!(Canadian train).

  • Orlando's Sunrail, Miami's Tri-rail, Salt Lake City's FrontRunner, Minneapolis Northstar, Montreal's AMT, etc. etc. They're everywhere. Interestingly, the original design was built by a publicly funded effort to supply Toronto's GO Transit system. They've since been purchased and improved by Bombardier and sold all over the continent.

  • @MrRoddygee Except for New York area commuter lines. Low clearances.

  • Thanks @yardlet6 that's true. Lines with tighter operating envelopes like the Long Island Railroad, New Jersey Transit, Metro North or Chicago's Metra use more compact cars like Bombardier's "Multi-level" car or the like.

  • lol im sorry but those bombardier cars are sexy as hell and make those other Nipponsharyo cars look like ugly moving tin cans

  • I agree about the Bombardiers. That baby bullet's all about looking hot.

  • That is just a gorgeous trainset, but why must it have such a hideous horn?

  • @ecoRfan Caltrain use to have beautiful horns, but due to noise complaints they had to use these shitty horns since they aren't as loud.

  • They use the Baby Bullet Cars for the Paris Commuter Train. They look the same.

  • Hey do you all mind if I ask why you all have commuter trains like in onterio (sorry for the misspelling) and mountain veiw (which ive been on) and LA, but here in Louisiana where we need that more than ever, but we don't?? :[

  • It's simple. You used to. But your politicos knuckled under to pressure from auto manufacturers, airlines, cement companies, ad infinitum to create an America where you have to buy a product, not a service, to get from point A to point B. Every other country in the world hasn't shat away its infrastructure.

  • That sounds like a Metrolink horn.

  • Yes Exactly the nathan P2 Which is the worst horn of all time

  • those cars look like the ones used on the GO Transit!!!!!!!!!

  • they are the same type...

but these were bought from sounder in seattle

  • The cars used by Go Transit were purchased from Bombardier

  • So were the sounder aka caltrain ones. Actually a few were bought brand new from bombardier.

  • You all are very lucky to have a commuter train. In Louisiana We don't have one and its very hard to get from place to place when your only a kid which is why we need a commuter train.

  • Yeah that sucks

  • never getts old

  • were you on a trip to costco?

  • I live between Lawrence Station and Sunnyvale Station. I like taking Caltrain to San Francisco
