Your car is slow and an exhaust won't make a difference so your car is RICE. An si actually has power and can run with a lot of cars, BIG difference

chek out my vids...i think they might be usefull and/or helpfull. but usually exhaust dont add hp...maybe 5hp gain because what it does is allow more air flow out from the engine so u do get a little better performance but not anything too noticible...
sometimes it does( cousin had a 94 accord with stock exhaust rusted out, so he replaced the whole exhaust system including headers, and after that he actually felt a difference in performance), sometimes complete opposite. all i can say is you dont want a fat pipe on a 1.6-1.8 civic, can cause back pressure issues( especially if its a full catback) and can even result in longer starts of your engine. honda makes them that size for a purpose. if its a muffler then i dont think it really matters.
