This happens all the time. The reporter was professional. He just couldn't hear the jackass in the studio and I wish I didn't either.

The reporter handled it like a pro. He was obviously having techincal problems, but he held it together, and kept quiet. The worst thing to do is say something stupid thinking you're not on the air.
The anchor had a good recovery, especially the "speechless" line, but that last little jab about the wingtip shoes being in scott's mouth was uncalled for.
