@loulooks323 if you want to bulk up eat that small bowl, you can also take a protein shake, you shouldn't worry about those small things, thats what many beginners (included me) do, they worry about the small things, but if the principe is right, you will have results.

when i first started lifting i weighed 153, i hit the dreadmill for the first couple months to lose a little bodyfat. i gained some noticible muscle in the five months ive been lifting, but now i weigh 143, and ive been eating a shitload of protein, good slow digesting carbs(whole grain breads, boiled eggs) etc.
Even if you do only burn 300 cals on a treadmill, it still raises your metabolic rate so even after the run you'd still burn calories a lot faster. Just don't do cardio at all, unless you're cutting.

Eat breakfast, keep a tub of whey protein in your locker and take bathroom breaks every 3 hours and mix up some protein powder in water. That's what I did when I was in school anyway.
If that isn't an option then make some Homeade protein bars and snack on them every 3 hours in the same fashion. Most homeade protein bars keep just fine in one of those ice cooled lunch boxes.

If you are skinny and wanna get bigger, eat excess calories (but eat right), dont do cardio, dont lift to heavy and dont workout for more than 40 minutes.....also, get 8 hours of sleep as well as plenty of water and nutrition

Excess calories are for people looking to bulk up......if you wanna stay lean with muscle like me, just eat a lot of fruit, protein, drink milk and lots of water and stay away from sugary foods...if youre skinny, dont do cardio at all
