  • as you can see in the description this was filmed in the late 1990s; condoms and 'the pill' are likely to be much more available

  • what a foolish inaccurate ABC report as usual....

The pill is legal and it is in fact easily obtained if there is the doctor's prescription in Japan.

The abortions in Japan are 242,292 in 2008. This was rather small against the population ratio, compared with other countries. As WHO points out,the healthy statistics of Japan are generally accurate, and unreported number is very little. Abortion is total legal and managed well and the accident is very few.

  • Its stupid to think its right to force a woman to give birth, for religious or other reasons but its outraging to know that they're using abortion as a contraceptive. Let them have the pill. its not that big of a deal. or why can't they have spirals or other kinds of contraceptives to help women who are not ready or doesn't want to have a child.

  • I'm so sick of governments or health care officials fucking with facts to stop things they don't like when they could be helping people

  • @Capricola37914 Screw that, the definition of baby shouldnt depend on being outside or inside of a womb. It doesnt make sense.

  • @Capricola37914 see that doesnt make sense, does that mean a fetus thats ready to born, in mere hour is not a human being? he or she is going to have everything a newborn will have, just its not out of the womb yet. So we should be able to kill it. If we are gonna do that why dont we just legalize infanticide?

  • How hypocritical is it to be singing an opera song in celebration of a babies first year, when you murder about 700 a year? Despicable.

  • 1 million abortions in japan a year~~

  • An abortion kills a child and very deeply hurts a woman. Bizarre and violent things are done in the name of women's (false)freedom, and the big bucks of the abortion and contraception industry. Both these services are dangerous to women. Abortions have sky rocketed since the availability of the Pill, notoriously dangerous and unreliable, feeding abortion growth. A woman never regrets choosing life; the love between her and her son or daughter, love, family stability, loyalty.

  • Human rights. In order to choose, a woman needs to be well informed. This helps: ehd dot com As can be clearly seen on purely scientific evidence, the timeline of a human life starts at the beginning, when such things as eye color, DNA were all established, wholely human, though small; with everything necessary for growth to the next stage, just like, and equal to, a born child.

Abortion is not medical care cos pregnancy is not a disease. Atrocities are done, not by evil, but deceived, people.

  • so condoms are out fo the question in japan?

  • Why the fuck can't JM productions get their shit together and create subtitles

  • can women in japan take birth control now?

  • this is not a new thing . many students have it in america , and this footage is from 1998 .

  • i blankfully think that people have low standards like you to raise a child! Most Japanese parents want their children to go to university and have a profession (which they prepare for the child's whole life!!!) not just ONE sat test -____-

  • i love how some people here are as retarded as the ministry of Japan! why do you think these people get abortion or why most married couples have only one child? BECAUSE IT IS FRICKEN EXPENSIVE! Both parents usually work so their child can get an excellent education (not like American of education, google it for you self) and to raise it (child care, food, living conditions etc)!! (cont'd)

  • @KpopManiacSFL please dont say retarded. it's rude. but i agree with you. :)

  • The pill was legalized in Japan a year after this video was shot (1998).

However, it is still not as popular to Japanese women compared to Western women (the former sees it as "unnatural" for the body).

  • My IDEA FOR CONTRACEPTION: kICK THEM IN THE PUSSY BEFORE AND AFTER SEX

  • "when she fell pregnant..." being pregnant isn't like the flu... why don't they translate...journeyman, you are starting to look extremely biased and like you're withholding evidence..

  • @dendara100 They don't translate because they want you to buy the full video which comes with subtitle. Stop being so conspiratorial.

  • @ninuxy that makes sense...but they should really just translate it, I mean it's just a part of the whole documentary right?

  • i hate these retarded documentaries that dont fucking translate. why would u do that? this is insanely retarded

  • i read that the pill was legalized in may of 1999 :D

dont go protesting in japan people ^^ the women have the pill now, vaginas can now be used receationally as well as creationally

  • uuuughhhhhhh!

  • Subtitles please....

  • The reason Japan's population is declining is because they have become a developed country. (One of the reasons anyways, another being because recession makes having children very very pricey.)

  • So these girls and boys don't consider wearing condoms, or females taking Birth Control pills.

But hey this is any person who gets pregnant.

The pill is scary???Are they serious??What's scary is having too many abortions that it will lead you to not being able to have babies, or worse death.

  • So these girls and boys don't consider wearing condoms, or females taking Birth Control pills.

But hey this is any person who gets pregnant.

  • condoms?

  • normally i would approve abortions, because i believe its the mothers right to choose, but in this case, i have to disagree. the japanese population is shrinking, japan needs more babies! by 2050, they wont have enough people to keep the country running. they will have to import immgrants to work in japan.

  • @jukio02 you did do some reading after your comment to me and then beat me to what I was going to say. well, western europe is being screwed royally as well by thier missing generation. kids are needed. steady population growth is required for economies to not collapse. basic economics. second. overpopulation is a myth. all famine is political. also "kids aren't needed". People are valuable for being people.

  • I always say don't judge unless you've been in that situation yourself. Im so sick of people judging women who get abortions as immoral and evil when they dont know what her circumstances are or her reasons for doing so.Its not her husbands choice, her boyfriends choice, her parents choice or her childs choice. Its hers! What she decides to do with her body is her decison to make and no one but her should have control over it.

  • @SUPASONICDNCR oh shut the fuck up. I am so sick of that your judging me crap. whether or not someone judges a person for what they do doesn't make it wrong or right. being wrong or right is implicite in the action itself.

  • @johny260 You really have issues sweetheart and judging by the fact that you aren't a women yourself how about you shut the fuck up. You will never be able anatomically have a child and therefore make this type of decision so take your pro life antics and shove them.

  • @SUPASONICDNCR what are you talking about, a man has every right to have a voice in the decision, its his child too! and, you didnt even read what i wrote, japan needs babies! its not about if she wants a child or not, its about survival! goddamnit u idiot! the japanese race is going extinct, and your like whatever... humans are meant to breed, its in our nature. u just gona let them die like that? your stupid

  • @SUPASONICDNCR you know, abortion isnt really natural and all, but im willing to accept it, because i came to the realisation that its our nature to breed(to keep the human race going), but its also in our nature to alter nature itself. in the future we'll control the weather, control planets, and even stars. so, what ever we can come up with in our little minds, id say hell, if we can do it, then why not! if the japanese are going extinct, then well, its nature i guess

  • @SUPASONICDNCR the problem with you is that you can't face whether it is right or wrong to kill a baby, so you have to pull this "your judging me" crap. And being a logical man, I know right from wrong and you should pull that feminist pride out of your ass and learn to listen to someone who has common sense.

  • @SUPASONICDNCR "her body, her decision" - this is such an embarrassing feminist argument. No, having a baby doesn't means it's a part of your body. It's not an internal organ. Uterus is, embryo/fetus izen't. That's a new body and the rights belong to the kid.

Supporting abortion is like having khmer rouge mentality. "Don't want a kid? Don't worry, just kill it". And the abortion method isn't any less horrible than how the khmer rouge were executing adults and babies just to save on bullets.

  • @StandingRedPanda its not a feminist argument, its a legitly opposite to feminists argument. If she wants an abortion let her do it, its called pro-choice. she has the right to do it, leave her the hell alone and let her do it.

  • @StandingRedPanda Um, if it's IN your body, it's a part of you. :/ If the fetus is living off of the mother... it's part of her. Sorry, but you're an unbelievable idiot, and probably a man, too. You have no idea how a pregnant woman's body works. People like you are why so much of the world is stuck in the dark ages, still, and why so many millions of women have zero rights.

  • @HereWasNicole You are a true idiot. I am not going to say whether or not abortion should be allowed, but a baby at some point is NOT part of the mother, at least not completely.

  • And theres the key word LIVING INSIDE, so you admit that babies are living, alive, so abortion would mean killing no?

  • People say abortion is the right of a woman but wha about the right of the child? If you were that child would you want to be killed? The child never asked to be concieved because the woman CHOSE to have sex. If you don't want the child give it up for adoption but don't kill it.

  • the problem is the attitude of the young towards contraceptives. From what i've seen using a condom is taboo or "doesn't feel as good' excuse. Using the pill is something prostitutes do.

If young people would be more cautious such a drastic procedure would not be necessary and these abortion numbers would drop.

  • Japanese woman should be able to have the right to take the pill instead of having to go through abortion after abortion. Just b/c they want to keep their extra money from abortions and not worry about the thousand of lives their killing in the process.

  • @sesshora44 Yeah, it's a life but so are cockroaches but because they don't have consciousness like a fetus we have no qualms with taking their lives. Also, what determines a person is viability.

Take for instance a case in India where a 38 year old man's twin brother lived inside of him as a fetus, with it's own brain and all. But it was killed because it was not viable and incapable of physically living outside of it's host like a parasite.

  • Some subtitles would be great.

  • And that's why Japan now is having to build robots. To replace the humans who have been killed.

  • @ loner1878

Um, no that's not bullshit, it's facts. The more abortions the woman gets the more scarring tissues she gets on her uterus, scarred tissue prevents the zygote from attaching itself to the uterus lining.

While a couple of abortions are fine, if you're going to have, oh I don't know, 10 + then you got serious issue... I mean, accidents DO happen, and shit does happen, but if a woman goes through 10+ abortions in her life...um, wtf is she doing to keep herself safe???

  • @midnull

So now its 10+ abortions that cause the problem? You said two abortions in your last post.

By that logic women who have c sections should also be less likely to concieve due to scarring but I haven't heard this claim going around. And I have a friend who gave birth to one kid but due to complications can't have any more (no c section involved).

  • abortion is the worst thing humanity has invented. There is nothing that can justify this mass slaughter. We are no better than any historical sect we villainize. we are just as unjust.

  • @johny260

Bullshit. Rape and incest are the worst things invented. Abortions are not the problem.

  • @loner1878 You just did exactly what I said you would. You point to another atrocity in order to accept your own.

  • @johny260

And where exactly did you say that little line? Hate to tell you, but abortion is far from the "atrocity" you forced birthers want to believe it is.

And if you believe rape victims should be forced to carry to term you're beyond help.

  • @loner1878 you are stereotyping me as a fascist in order not to face the reality of your own actions. You stereotype me in order to excuser your own actions of killing babies. That is the issue. Some people who are raped get pregnant. 80 million deaths isn't the answer to it.

  • @johny260

Really? I'm curious how exactly I potrayed you as a "fascist." Abortion is not murder. For all the drama you make over deaths, you should realize making abortion illegal does no good and only kills women.

  • @loner1878 "forced birther" your stereotype set is the common "prolifers are fascists so we can ignore the pain in our conciousnce when they bring it up." If someone chooses to kill someone, and its not as safe for them to do it, that is their deal. Do you even have an argument based on evidence. Less women will die if its illigal, because on the massive scale it is performed women die more then when they were doing it illigally. read some statistics

  • @johny260

And how is wrong? The "pro life" stance wants to force women to carry pregnancies to term even if its against their will.

Um, you might want to reread your own last senstence there, you say "less women will die if its illegal but more women die when they were doing it illegally?" WTF does that even mean.

Its you who needs to look up some real statistics, maternal death rates are much higher and overall maternal health is lower in countries that forbid abortion.

  • @johny260

Also, I grew up in a country where abortion was illegal in ALL cases. The laws agaisnt it do no good and only cause harm. Obviously you've had the luxury of never knowing the consequences of it.

  • Comment removed

  • @jukio02 You seriously need help sweetheart. And judging by the fact that you're not a woman yourself how about you shut the fuck up!

  • Cut off the last 8 seconds of audio, add subtitles and post an update - it's 2010!

  • Novel idea: Make the choice BEFORE the fucking! The ProChoice movement is a joke, as if women don't already have tons of other choices and options. Freedom over their own bodies? Does anyone on here actually believe that they have total freedom over their own body and what it does? So you can take your body part called "finger", pull the trigger of a gun , and kill someone without repercussions? What boneheads!

  • @famousPhotog

So married women should not fuck their husbands?

People like YOU are a joke.

  • @loner1878 Can you read? Do you think total abstinence is the only way to prevent fertilization? Ignorant people like you are a joke. Maybe you should have been "terminated", if it's no problem.

  • @famousPhotog

Do you think all forms of birth control are 100% effective? Looks like I'm hardly the ignorant one, lol.

Not a very good argument in your last line, its not like I'd know the difference. You'd just be having this discussion with someone else. Are people so conceited to think they're such special little snowflakes that the world would come to a shuddering halt without them?

  • @loner1878 I am sorry to hear that you feel that you are so insignificant that it would not matter if you had been aborted. Personally, I don't know too many people who feel that way. Its not really a matter of being conceited. Its a matter of having the opportunity to live and grow and experience life and contribute toward the advancement of humanity. If you don't care about any of that, that's fine, but why take that opportunity away from someone else?

  • @famousPhotog

Its not about not caring, its about not knowing the difference. Things that don't exist don't have an opinion one way or the other. Like Mark Twain once said: "I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it."

But anyways, my mother CHOSE to have me. That is what pro choice means.

  • @loner1878 With respect to the Mark Twain quote, the same could be said if someone put a bullet in your brain and instantly killed you, thereby immediately bringing you from a state of consciousness and having an opinion to a state of unconsciousness and not having an opinion. Do you really want to open up this can of worms? There are plenty of people who are "out of it" with dementia and the like. Should we just start killing them, since we don't think they would mind (after they are dead)?

  • @famousPhotog

You seem to be the one opening the can, my friend. I suggested none of the above and frankly I'm not sure how you made the leap.

  • @loner1878 And although birth-control may not be 100% effective, its very very effective if practiced consistently. The number of unwanted pregnancies and consequent abortions that occur as a result of a failure of birth control properly implemented is extremely small. The vast majority (greater than 95%) of unwanted pregnancies occur as a result of no birth control, or inconsistent or improper birth control. Go look it up.

  • @famousPhotog

Old news. So what are your sources for your stats? Try and take other variables into account - ridiculous abstinence-only programs in schools that leave kids uninformed, insurance not covering birth control, misinformation about birth control (many women don't know vomiting, diarrhea or antibiotics mess with the pill), the list goes on. A married couple I know had an abortion when the hubsand's ten year vasectomy reversed itself. Don't judge unless you know all the facts.

  • im for abortion...

but this just makes me sick....

  • Oh my goodness...This is so sad. Japan's society is going to get messed up if there aren't enough babies and too many old people. Japan is making their own society extinct....this is too sad.

  • @buraburayoshi

    "Extinction" is quite an exaggeration.

  • @loner1878 well I hope it is, because I love Japan, I would hate to see it disappear.

  • oh my goodness...this is so sad.

  • I like how theres all this complaining about abortion, and no one notices the mother, the father, and the hospital staff all drinking.

No one noticed he didnt wash his hands before drinking. :/

  • Unbelievable murder! God's judgment will be so severe on these cultures.

  • ...Pedo bear says yes to Japan!

  • ...wow that's horrible. An abortion traumatizes a woman's body, if the body is still in the stages of developing...it's even worse. Usually after 2 abortions women can't have more kids...

  • @midnull

Thats bullshit. Maybe after illegal and unsafe abortions, but first trimester abortions are eleven times safer than giving birth.

  • Would you be able to put up subtitles? Not all of us understand Japanese. Thanks.

  • having the pill won't make women promiscuous, if anything it would make them smarter, and healthier, some pills protect against illnesses that wouldn't show up in a scan or show symptoms until its to late

  • wear a f*cking condom jeez i lov japan but this is out of control

  • Japan fell into the habit of imitating US, and now THEY'RE on the glidepath to doom. It's not the least bit funny, and at the same time, it's hard not to laugh. It's like some fairy tale about a bunch of people in a conga line to hell.

  • Hahahaha, so having the pill available will make women promiscuous, but handing out abortions left and right won't?

I'm pro-choice, but really? There are better ways.

  • I stopped at 3.20, can't watch the procedure. I'm glad I've never been responsible for an abortion (to the very best of my knowledge).

  • Why does Journeyman never use subtitles? It's kind of listening to the Tridentine Mass. It sounds nice, but it doesn't do much for me.

  • I think the Minister's concerns about The Pill has a lot to do with Japan's already low birth rate. The Pill will only aggravate this demographic problem

  • Smile. Your mom chose life.

  • the message of contra pills making women promiscuous is very wrong, and is an example of the patriarchy that has been the downfall of japan. use common sense because contra pills makes women a lot stronger. support equality!

  • kaelakimura she has a job in cabaret and she is an abortionist

  • Abortion has turned into a form of birth control.

  • its also a big psychological trauma. humans are not and were never supposed to kill their own babies!

  • can't we just used pills or any alternative for preventing ourselves to get pregnant?

Abortion for me is already killing....

  • the abortion is right of women!

  • Hito wo korosu koto ha dare no "right" kashira... Onna no hito no naka ni iru akachan ha mada akachan deshou? Dewa hito deshou? Doushite hoka no dareka ni agenai no? Akachan ga dekinai hito ha yappari sono ko ga hoshiin desu.

  • @YOSHINORI999 Pretty sure it took more than just the woman to make the baby. It takes two to tango, the responsibility and right belongs to both mother and father. Why do people get the ridiculous idea otherwise.

  • @YOSHINORI999

so, the father doesnt have a say in it? has no one taught you? the woman is just the vessel, the seed comes from man. and you better thank your mom for having chosen to have you...

  • stinger2578 - when you get the urge to take a shit, just restrain from it.

  • The world would be a far better place if people would practice restraint - if people would quit giving into every sudden urge.

  • God this is horrible. Needless, cruel, harmful, due to money-hungry doctors... God. Something needs to happen here, and it's not a physical issue. If you're worried about your women being promiscuous, teach it to them as a social rule, not by a physical constraint by not offering it... So stupid... I think things have changed since this documentary, but still... poor women, poor babies...

  • relax japan has changed after surrender.

  • Uhhh not sure I understand? This video was taken in 1998, so that means something had to change since then, not since the 1940s... Setsumei shite kureru?

  • Wow this is just awful. If they ALSO outlawed abortion, that would fix the promiscuity problem too.

  • Bunch of murderous whores and crazy murderous doctors. 300,000 abortions in Japan per year?? That's like 100 Sept 11's in human cost. Culture of death...the world is a sick place. People are shamelessly perverted and have no sense of responsibility anymore. Sick fuks.

  • omg....did they just push the baby out like a sit O_O no offence to anyone, im just wondering if i saw wrong or if they acually do that (i'm a girl and would like to be prepared)

  • I don't get it, Japan is super advanced and civilized but yet this doctor alone performs 700 abortions a year? Come of Japanese women use the pill, be a little smarter.

  • Contraceptives(incl; pill condoms) are not 100% reliable, so pregnancy can still occur. Besides, japanese government doesn't do much to help financially families or single mothers. Having a child in Japan is VERY expensive, and most single women can't afford to keep their babies, plus children out of wedlock are looked down by society, so they choose to abort.

  • Thus far nothing comes close to the pill, the pill is 99.9% effective, it is super rare to fall in that .01%. Condoms aren't too effective lol my sisters' gave out and now she has a little brat for a child running around. I was actually raised by my mother who was single, but it was super hard. Maybe it's harder in Japan than America, I don't know. Abortion shouldn't be a means of birth control though.

  • @kristifnaJspolisci99: My mother has 5 kids. She was on the pill when she got pregnant the first four times. She gave up on the last and just got her tubes tied. My friend was on the pill was she for a year when she got pregnant,, so no, its not effective all the time.

  • @KristinaJSpolisci99, you should read the description. "One Japanese doctor admits that the reason doctors haven't been campaigning for the pill's introduction is that it would erode their huge income from abortions....The Japanese authorities believe the pill will make women promiscuous." Those japanese women are just really uninformed and stuff like that.. and no one tells them its really okay to use it..

  • The title also says A woman's right to choose. The pill does not make women more promiscuous it gives them freedom over their body. Whether they're in a relationship with their boyfriend or spouse if they're not ready for kids then they can choose. I'm also sure that most guys would like to wait to have children rather then jumping right into having kids. The pill has revolutionized women's rights, no doubt about that. I say go for it Japanese women, do what you want it's 2010.

  • @KristinaJSpolisci99, Yeah this is an old document so we cant be sure whether the situation has changed there in over 10 years. But the truth is, they are doing what they want. They just think its their only choice for "birth control". Do you think someone would take the pill without any knowledge of the birth control pills other than the doc says its not so good idea to take it because of the side effects etc. Of course most of this information they get is bullshit.

  • yeah exactly they thought this was their only option. I think abortion should be used in situations where the mother is in danger or other situations. Hopefully in ten y ears it has gotten better and women are more aware of birth control options that don't include abortions. Also the pill, if you don't smoke, barely has side effects, in fact is good side effects and controls your weight and acne as well.

  • It's a very hard decision... I feel for those women and babys..., but I hope since 1998. things' changed...

  • That is such a cruel thoughtless and needlessly mean thing to say. You know Japan only from youtube documentaries and CNN-friendly reports, and your nations textbooks. Japan is a country with an amazing heart, whose people are all about life. Take a look at your own nation and enjoy it's flaws before judging those of others. Right?

  • @bearsaysmeow ass kissing weeaboo detected.

  • Look at the inhumanity of the Americans in their treatment of Red Indians.

Look at the inhumanity of the Germans during WWII.

Look at the inhumanity of the Turks during WWI.

There is inhumanity to look at in every nation's history.

  • yer a big fat hippo

  • wow Japanese people do not use condom?

  • @r23d34 i would assume that since there are still alot of educated people who believe the government created Aids, they would not need condoms. In other words, AIDS is not a common thing in many countries like it is in America and Africa.

  • Is this true? I heard that the population of children in Japan is decreasing and it's becoming a problem.

  • @keitan28 Yes, the government is considering paying married couples to have babies.

  • It's the 21st century and these people have never heard of IUDs and don't know how to use condoms?!?

  • @szj456 read my comment to r23d34

  • @jayu404

Your reply to r23d34 regarding your beliefs about the statistics/demographics of HIV AIDs outside of America and Africa, and the use of condoms (or refusal, thereof) in such regions to prevent STD transmission, had nothing to do with my comment about the use and proper implementation of condoms and IUDs for birth control in Japan.

  • @szj456 Condoms have been overruled a long time ago as the popular or most common method of birth control, since the pill was invented. That is why condoms are not commonly used. There's also not as many condom advertisements due to the fact as I said, the problem with death causing STDs is not as great. Thus making the pill the number 1 birth control method and putting condoms at the back end. Does this please you.

  • Seamonkeywater: I don't know what you are trying to convey. I just wanted to say that those men at the club are so perverse. I don't know why they are not embarrassed when they watch those girls' bodies without being ashamed.

  • U suck,

  • I hate the men in this clip. They are so sexually perverse.

  • ...man why the hell dont they translate.. am i doing something wrong? is there a way to make subtitles appear or are they just doing it to piss me off?

  • So now why would they set up little idols to appease the spirits of their aborted children if they didn't know they were doing something wrong?

  • Again with this children stuff. With 5 billion people on this planet, I'd say we have enough of them. Don't tell me, we will explore and colonize other planets....which by then, if ever, the Earth would have been decimated and drained. A childish solution as waiting for God to come down to clean up our mess,.and ironic considering it was the Catholic religion that had us believing the sun revolve around the Earth.

  • You and people like you won't be exploring anything. You won't even be keeping your own lands. You will be going the way of the dodo - and more fertile people will be squaring up to reality and expanding new horizons.

    Don't worry yourself about it!!

  • Yes, the reality is that we are overpopulating the planet the the horizon they will be exploring is to curb the population before it is too late. And speaking about keeping our lands, I have news for you, those lines and borders you see on an Atlas, they are imaginary. they are not real.

  • Who is 'they'. Who ever they are 'they' will have to contend with the Catholic Church. People are just beginning to wake up and see the devastation that abortion and contraeption are causing and they don't like it!!

But 'Pungi' I bet 'they' won't have too much bother sterilising you and those like you cos people like you bow out in the first round. Good for nothing!

  • I don't mind bowing out in the first round as long as I treat my fellow man and animals and the Earth itself in a decent manner. That counts for something. I dont mind being sterlize, as I don't want children. Those who serve God, priests and nuns, cannot have children either. I guess they are good for nothing also?

  • Good - cos I don't mind you bowing out in the first round either. In fact I think it's brilliant! Can I have whatever you are leaving behind??

Only a CATHOLIC STATE will survive and thrive. Atheist societies are too immoral and weak to face the demands of this harsh life - where only the fittest survive ie the moral ones - as defined by the Catholic Church!!

  • You didn't answer my questions. So, are priests and nuns good for nothing because they cannot have children? No answer? I thought so.

  • NO they certainly are not good for nothings. They live their lives for others - AND they remain celibate. That is their sacrifice for Christ (God Himself)!! They are not promiscuous ie living immoral lives yet not bearing enough children thus threatening their society's survival!

And Mother Nature will make sure they are eliminated!!

  • And I live my life for others as well. As for my things, I am leaving them for my nephews. Yes, those of us who do not have children have families as well and we made ourselves available to make their lives better. We are the ones making sure the earth is still around for THEM.

  • And by the way, we all have only one life to live in this world. There is only round one on this planet. Round two is when you go and meet God where you will be judge how you treat your fellow man, and planet earth and all the creatures that God created. Given your views, you should be very worried.

  • No you actually live a very selfish life - and leave the duty of bearing a next gerneration of children up to others. You are what is called a leech.

I wouldn't like any children of mine to support you in your old age!! That is very unfair!

  • We've already tried a Catholic State, and it sent Europe into the Dark Ages. We've learned out lesson about state religions.

  • The Catholic State is the foundation of Western Civilisation - and produced the greatest works of art architecture and music the world has ever seen. It also set new humane rules - now abolished by atheism - and fostered the growth of science in Catholic universities and monasteries!

Bring back the CATHOLIC STATE! Under the auspices of atheism the West is dying and falling to Islam - as is Japan - caught in a terrible downward spiral of birthrates. Fatal - that's what atheist rule is!

  • Name one discovery that the Catholic Church was responsible for.

When Galileo suggested that the Earth revolves around the Sun, the Catholic Church put him under house arrest.

Newton's discovery of gravity, without which most of our modern technologies would not exist, was based on Galileo's discoveries.

It seems that your Catholic State has done more to hold back our civilization than help it.

I don't hate Catholics, but, I think that Church and State should remain separated.

  • No discoveries would exist if it was not for the preliminary work done before Gallileo Copernicus etc. Later Christian scientists built upon these! And the Church was hard on Gallieo cos he tried to imply that he had disproved the Holy Bible - when in fact that particular passage was figurative not literal!

After seeing the terrible situation that atheism has landed the West in - I can no longer ever agree with the separation of Church and State! Western Civilisation was born out of this!!

  • And why a Catholic State? Why not a Muslim State? Or a Buddhist State? Or maybe even a Pagan State?

Your religion is not the only one in the world, and no religion should have the power to force other people into their religions.

People should follow a certain religion because they want to, not because the state tells them to.

I've seen what state religions can do, just look at the Middle East. Even if it's for good reasons, all state religions become corrupt.

  • A CATHOLIC STATE cos when Europe was based on the truth that Jesus Christ was God Himself she thrived! Unlike Islamic or Buddhist countries - she way surpassed them! Not that this is the only indicator of the truth of Christianity - but it is significant!

Now that this crux has been rejected - the West is falling apart and can no longer sustain itself! What more proof do you need??

  • It will not work. If you try to force everyone to convert to your religion, there will be rebellion.

We want our freedom, and you'll have to go through the people to get your Catholic State, as would atheists if they wanted a Catholic State. Like I said, forcing your religion on the world will have consequences, and could lead to the destruction of it.

That, my fanatical and power hungry friend, is the beauty of democracy and liberty. All Hail the people!!!

  • I can't force anyone to do anything - I have no power at all. But they might convert when they see where their atheism and 'freedoms' are leading them to ie straight into the jaws of Sharia Law - and demographic wipeout!!

But if that is their decision then that is their decision. It is amazing what little reasoning goes on in the heads of atheists! They only desire - and mistake it for thinking. No wonder all the best thinkers and philosophers are Catholics!!

  • Maybe they are, and maybe they aren't. It didn't seem to help stop Rome from falling. In fact, the only reason the emperor made it the state religion was so he could gain more power over the people.

Uh, most of the best thinkers are Jews and atheists. Who do you think invented the computer and software you're using right now?

  • Hail to the people?

What "good" qualities are you "hailing" here? Selfishness? Hatred? Lying and murderous heart?

  • @Obelisk155 this is about abortion not religion so wth are you talking about...

  • @sesshora44 You have to scroll back through a year's worth of comments. Someone was talking about how all of the world's nations should be catholic.

  • @Obelisk155

Agreed =]] yepp ,, don't try to force everyone to convert to your religion,,

and all we do is just respect each other

  • @lovekadaj12 So if one's alleged religious believes say kill, kill, kill, then we should just stand by and let it happen, right? If not, why not? Any answer to this is going to unravel your position. Regardless of religion, there are at least a few universal truths, and one of them is the sanctity of life, and there is no logical reason why this should not be extended to the early days of one's life as a fetus. All arguments against this are simply selfish and self-serving.

  • 神は存在しないことがあります。

  • Yeah, just like a Catholic State saved the Roman Empire.

  • I love Japan, Fucking men are still men.... a woman should two choices "with or without the lights on......

  • u make it sound like im a racist, but im far from it. Im a culturalist, i think 3rd world barbarism needs to stay out. Beheadings, anti womens rights, anti-gay, sex abuses, caste systems, religous nutcases. sure we have these issues but it's not imbedded in our culture as it is in others.

  • Just recently an immigrant from cameroon immigrated to France, and now they find out she has a new strain of HIV from Gorrillas

  • Example in sweden, the level of sex crimes correlates directly with the influx of immigrants from 3rd world nations. according to the study 70% of the rapists were non-native born swedish.
