Our defense is nice and flacco has weapons but he is not comfortable in the pocket and he has to calm down, look for the open receiver, and pass to him. He needs to stop throwing it out of bounds if he is under pressure. If he changes his game plan to go out, be confident and throw to his receivers and not throw it out of bounds, he will get back in the groove.

That was a good post game analysis. I like that you can be objective without being a total homer in your views. Those two calls WERE bad...the roughing the passer call was bullshit. But I also saw some holding by your offensive line and T.O. getting raped in the endzone with no flags thrown. Flacco really just lost that close, ugly game for you all. And as far as the rivalry...Pittsburgh may be the bigger one, but the Bengals have had your number...9-3 against the Ravens in last 12 games now!

99.9% of the blame is on Flacco. he has more picks and thrown away passes than he has completions. if he starts off bad they need to bring in Bulger. he is more experienced and I think he looked alot better than Flacco all Pre Season

To add I also blame cam Cameron for going away from the run. Ray rice had 16 carries and almost had 100 yds. Gotta milk that. Identity crisis is what I think when I think about the ravens offense. The bengals know that a cover 2 defense completely shuts flacco and this offense down no matter what the weapons are.. Too bad Cameron doesn't know that
Flacco is regressing/staying the same. Some would attribute it to him not having a true consistent deep threat (Clayton wasn't great but still had jets down the field) and others blame " chemistry". I blame flacco. His mechanics are still awful (throwing off back foot throwing into coverage throwing lobs) qnd his decision making is still sub par. He needs 2 get it together.
This is very honest. I appreciate that. I just saw the controversial two plays today. The roughing call was kind of weak but the tripping call. Ray said he was blocked into Palmer. He ended up on the ground, he rolled once, thats ok but then he rolled a second time and I think that is why he was called for tripping.

Four interceptions and they only scored 15 points, five field goals, no touchdowns, that speaks volumes of the Ravens defense though.
