from what I was told..neither commentators are professional meda people, it was done live at the time and they were placed with a poor view of the pindeck at the time.
Im also told they are commentating on matches for about 5 hours at a time...without breaks.....their style may not suit all, but they didnt make many wrong calls as cancan happen on live TV........................................
Notice the commentators never detail the lane condition. Hey, put great pros on a house shot and they'll burn it up. After listening to the Brits one really appreciates Rob Stone and Randy Pederson.
mine dont. i just move maybe a half step to the left, i end up aiming right at the head pin that way i have a better chance at correcting an error in my arm swing. It seems to work pretty good
@thiswilldoblue im a two hander and i actually love dry lanes im very good at giving the ball a little bit a spin to get it down the lane and i love throwing it hard when i can swing the lane throwing it hard from left of 4th arrow im in heaven and i dont miss often when i get in there
@thiswilldoblue Generally, yes those scores do plummet. There was also a study somewhere along the lines, when the lanes are oilier, the higher rev rates have a 20% higher chance of strikes than lower rev rates. ^^
@thiswilldoblue Whenever the lanes are dry I just loft it out onto the lane farther. I don't do quite as well but my scores don't go down that much...
@thiswilldoblue The exact opposite actually. I'm a two-handed bowler with a 212 sport shot average and with my Prodigy ball I have more control over the pocket when the lane is dry.
I've once had a really slow messenger, where i was watching the pin and it ever-so-slowly fell over, so slow that it counted it a 9! I quickly fixed that bitch!
ummm.... thats not true... check the pba.... he didnt Qualify for the us open.... so know ur facts... he bowlerd a buch of pba stops in 2005... and didnt even cash....
Check your facts man, 1/2 the bowlers on the Pba tour shouldnt even be on the tour i mean c'mon Chester Rogers?, Dale Traber? you telling me Those scrubs are better than Belmonte? plz use logic in your words sir
no chance, he him self said that the PBA has the best bowlers in the world, and that is why he came here. half of these peoplefrom team europe on qualfied for one or two tournaments here so far. belmonte isnt as big on the pba as in some other country.
Great match - but what a terrible 11th shot Belmonte threw, pulled it at least 3-4 boards, that was an unbelievable break for the 300! Seems like they laid out a really easy lane condition for this tournament.
3:06 true definition of a left strike. Beautiful.

i've switched to the 2-handed style and i've noticed that i get better pin reaction even when i hit the head pin way too squared, its awesome hahaha

What happens on dry lanes though? Do your scores take a dive?
thiswilldoblue 2 years ago 5
on dry lanes you just move to the left and not give as much lift with your fingers

@thiswilldoblue if its on a dry lane u ball hooks like a bitch i know that cuz i bowl 2 handed tpp

@thiswilldoblue 2 handed release is just a way to get more revs it dosen´t have any differens to powerplayers way of play

@icehawk1223 Same here. My friends get confused when I can hit strikes on both left and right pockets and even head on hitting the number 1 pin.

World Ten Pin bowling long oil shot, 42 feet in length pretty much plays between shark and scorpion, so yeah its a little tougher than house

Lots of bowlers here would aggree, but bowling is a rare sight on our TV in the UK so we put up with it. It's a small price to pay.

Don't know what you guys are talking about . I think it's hilarious listening to 'em. A lot better than listening to Rob Stone.
