I`m from Russia, and I know, that relationships between our countries are not very good. But video is great. I`d like to see such video about our history, but there is no one on YT.
I'm sorry but after seeing this, I feel like it's kinda ignorant for a country to make its own version of Baba Yetu. For one thing, there is no Polish Civ in the game and tailoring the opening video around your own countries' feats is just self-centered, regardless of who you are. Not to mention you're throwing any new players off, making them think the game is something it's not. You can be any Civ you want, and play against who you want. That's the point of the whole game.

@SachsenLetsPlay Actually at that time it HAD become Germany. The German guys hand (so vague) was Bismarck, who united Prussia, Bavaria, Saxony, etc. together. SO at that time it was Germany, though I see the confusion between them.

@SachsenLetsPlay All right I see your point, but the 68 YEAR LEAP between the 2 dates screwed up my mental timeline. I also have a large knowledge base of European history (Though mostly only between 1700-2011, BUT I know a lot from that era).

OK I am German but I mostly feel like Saxon I think the time were Germany was split in hundreds of own states like Saxony, Prussia,... were the best time in German history, The German states had a a customs union and were organized as the EU.
The Germans had a lot of money at this time, flourished culturally and successfully fought great battles.

This song was so heart moving, I thought how much the humanity builted, the war destroyed or how many ill's have cure and how much people died by the war. Why we can think and improve our way to preserve our specie and still we are int the way of the selfdestruction.
