He was very good in the discovery channel superhumans documentary.Kurzweill surely will not achieve his immortality goal but others will given enough time.There will be a day when all your memories thoughts personality etc. ,you essentially can be transfered into an electrical form that can be injected into a younger clone of yourself (or whoever/whatever) if it is even slightly plausable then it must happen eventually.

Not even the entertainment industry - once full human A.I and beyond is achievable - why wouldn't they be consciously, and motor-capable of making us redundant even in the movie industry? However, a change in values with our intelligence may arise - perhaps we won't care for mindless entertainment in the same way we do now. Ray Kurzweil invented a device a while back that reads text from books and speaks the text out loud. It's on the market and used by the blind. I've seen Ray demonstrate it on several interviews.

As much as I love RKurzweils ideas and beleive he is spot on accurate with his predictions, I think as a scientist he cannot grasp less tangible, spiritual phonomenon and is thus banking on many humans going further and further away from source, rather than closer towards it.
