@Bokuyatsu Better late than never. I had a similar issue on one of our computers where only some of the instruments played. The issue was that in the microsoft sound option stuff (on XP) the "playback of MIDI-music" option was set to something other than "Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth".
The path to this location is:Go to the Control Panel and open the Sound and Sound Units, then on the new window select Sound Units once again. *ROUGH TRANSLATION OF SOME WORDS*

How do u play with MIDI music?? when i select it, all i get is some part of the drum beat, thats it! ='(
