hi from canada, i just made my own veriation of this, i didnt have any soup, omg it was so good. best chicken i ever had, i had vegtables on the side instead of in it too, the chicken made my vegtables seem so bland and blah, that chicken was....a flavour bomb, oh man it was like sex in my mouth, good on ya mate! i had to say that. Yum-O! and that...
i was given a big amount of honey mustard chicken one day and diddnt know what to do with it so i looked online and came across your show. i loved the reciepe and when i served it both my children that are very picky eaters loved it and asked for more.
this guy deserves a bloody award! "yes i'm trapped in the 1960's in avacado" *shudder* "anyway..." i'd just like to say your one of the best cooks on you tube you make REAL food. NICE food. YUMMY food. none of this "ok so put the carrot stick and the halved letuce leaf on the massive shiny plate and serve to your 29 anorexic friends." GOOD ON YA MATE!!!
Im sorry but this isnt cooking in my opinion.. Dehydrated onions??? Grease Spray ??? What's up with that? And for the love of god.. Canned ingridients? If everything is so artificial.. You mentioned something about feeding kids.. Well personally I dont have kids but I'de never give them all this canned junk. Cookin is easy and exciting.. Don't make a joke out of it..
lol. ridiculous. these days, the convenience is important. canned ingredients give that to you. and it's actually a lot cheaper to buy things canned and jarred rather then fresh. also less wasteful.
Just found and subscribed to your videos - thanks for the recipe! Question for you though -- you mentioned at the end that ideally you'd want to cook the mixture for 10 to 15 minutes longer. Do you mean that you'd bring the mixture up to a boil and let it simmer away for 10 minutes or so? Also, would that thicken up the sauce a bit? I like thick sauces
or just chop up your chicken breasts add salt olive oil honey whole grain mustard cook in hot pan and just before cooked add balsamic vinegar. eat with rice or noodles. easy sweet and sticky chicken.
Why not do both, marinate it in half the sauce overnight then use the other half to cook it in, trust me, it works. And use a bit of soy and garlic with the sauce
thank you one pot chef!, i cooked this tonight for my family, and they loved it!, thanks so much for posting this, im looking forward to trying your other recipes
Thank you SO much! I have recently moved to the US from Oz and there is no chicken tonite here. It is my kids' favourite and they've been so disappointed until today! You are their hero! LOL
miss ya i'm glad ur back will have to try ur meal. i'm going to brown it like then put all the ingerention(sp?) in my slow cooker so it ready for me when i come home then all i have to do it use my rice make to make the rice to go with it
Wow thank you so much!! so much better than buying it in a jar aka chicken tonight (and cheaper) thanks for helping the family budget. I found you on oztion forums and am sooo glad I did! Thank you for your practical no nonsense everyday kitchen antics!
The whole "Chef" thing is a running joke - I know I'm not an actual chef. I actually put anbrief explanation of my username on my main channel page. Thanks for commenting :)
Yes I agree. the "One Pot Chef" is not a chef. All the "chef"s I have seen on TV are arrogant and foul mouthed. Not so our "One Pot Chef" .. couldnt get a nicer bloke.
My heart leapt for joy when I saw you had posted another video. Certainly looks tasty and I am going to try it out. You might want to edit your recipe list to include the dried onion flakes. (I probably would be tempted to use fresh onions). Thanks for posting a recipe that uses everyday sort of ingredients.
Whoops! How did I forget the onions! Thanks for catching that ;) You can substitute the dried onion flakes for 1 small onion (chopped fine). Glad you liked my recipe!

I think you missed the point of a quick & easy meal! We don't all have tons of fresh ingredients on hand everyday!

That looks delicious. I cook my rice in the microwave, SOOO easy, and not heating up the kitchen on the stove .
