for old time wrestling fans, Gillies looks like Ox Baker. The fight with Haley vs. Johnson & Goddard was kind of funny—one guy fighting two guys way bigger than he is. One of those "more guts than brains" things, but then he wasn't really expecting to fight both when he went after Johnson. Goddard's a good fighter but a real cementhead. Why'd he come off the bench? Johnson can take care of himself. Lots of fun. Good old fashioned hockey. For those who don't like it, go watch chess.

Il let u in on a secret ok - the 'biggest cheers' in a hockey game are ("ready"?) nice goals, nice saves, big hits and fights! That means 1/2 the cheers are due to the 'physical side' of the game! Not sure what you mean by the Glass Jaw comment and I really don't care because I'm a Flyers fan (look at that, I just gave you more reason to call me names).
And those Pens were laughing on the bench after that last game these two teams played. If that's what they wanna do, that's what they wanna do. I just didn't quite understand why the Pens and most Pens fans I know seemed genuinely shocked that the Islanders were a wee bit perturbed by this.

Gillies jumps into Tangradi with an elbow to the head, gives him a concussion as he's going down dazed Gillies is punching him while he's on his hands and knees. That is one of the dirtiest plays I've seen all year, Gillies should be banned for the rest of the season.
