3. (It seems that there are many ways that dentists do any procedure and I need to know which is best.) Is this technique available in the US? or is it identical to what is typically used.
4. Can you recommend a dentist who is particularly good at this in the US?

1. Is this technique very strong (enough to support a saxophonist's front tooth bottom tip which has broken of ? We bite moderately hard for long periods.
2. Can this be done on a missing large molar filling (only the rear wall is missing) without exposing the nerve or should I get a crown or a onlay?

@saxyartsy biting for long time will make internal stresses that may lead to restoration crack or even complete loss of it eventually composite is from 3 to 5 years restoration but i recommend porclain restoration crown as the best for ur case
such a revelation for my present case! but mine is the front tooth that my dentist said needs to rootcanal and then replaced it with a crown. which really worries me. i always want a natural look. i've seen people with a front tooth crown that is so fake looking. veneers is the best option i could think of but i cant afford it!
Too large bevel. it is even unecessary as showed by baratieri and edson araujo. Any restoration blends with this large and not conservative bevel! Not a good technique!!!!
who gives a fuck about shade matching, it's not rocket science.
