  • Holy hell! How much flash did you use in these? Nice salutes :)

  • What is the general rule for how much BP lift you need for your shell? And also do you need a lift cup attached to your shell or can you add the BP at the bottom of your mortar tube with a fuse at the base?

  • 10-15% the weight of the shell is how much BP you need. And you need a lift cup. It makes everything sooo much easier.

  • General manufacturing is for each 12 ounces of the shell, 1 oz lift is needed.

  • Many thanks!!!

  • nice report but the altitude is low..

a few meters upper can make the salute even more spectacular!

    nice work

  • wat did u use for lift just standard bp ???

  • Great reports!!

  • Sweet! There is nothing like a 3 inch salute. Except maybe a 4 incher!

  • The spiking was done by the most standard way.. assembled and spiked (flax twine) then pasted with 70# virgin kraft
