  • There is a movie coming out, it's going to be the London Cast, but it's only playing 2 times..

  • lol this wasn't really supposed to follow the original plot line, but i don't care.

    I love it anyways♥

  • Eric's child was from Pirats of the Caribbean. Just imagine a sequel where Will's boy turns out to be Jack's :D

I think LND film would certainly fail. Wish to see it though.

  • yeah i want them to make this movie with gerard emmy and patrick

  • WHY CAN'T GERARD, EMMY AND PATRICK JUST REUNITE AND MAKE LOVE NEVER DIES?! IT'S JUST NOT THE SAME WITHOUT THEM..... :'(

  • Well done I pray a movie is maid with the origanal cast

  • does anybody know if they are making it into a film? hope they do it would be epic!!!

  • @MagicSilver1000 not sure about an actual film like the 2004 movie. However, the australian production of this show was filmed in september and is due for release soon (release dates vary by country).

  • ok. thanks

  • oh. i live in america so idk yet

  • @harryPlover100 the release date for north america is slated for may 29. it was originally feb 7th, but it got pushed back

  • forgot to say the stage show is being released not a movie !

  • 12th march LND is released on DVD WOOOOHOOOOO :)

  • i looked the movie up on netflix and it wasn't out yet but it said it was in 2012. . . so i think they are making a movie

  • @harryPlover100 depending on what country you're in, the dvd will be realsed february-june (as long none are pushed back anymore). however, it is not a movie like the 2004 movie. this will be a recording of the stage show in australia

  • I love this

  • they are making a sequel to the 2004 phantom movie in 2012?

  • @harryPlover100 no, this is just a fan-made trailer.

  • @harryPlover100 yes witch is going to be released on dvd in march its not going to be a movie version like back in the 2004 film production its going to be a stage production like the one at the royal albert hall

  • pirates of carribean? o.0

  • I hope Andrew Lloyd Webber gets through his cancer so he and Joel Schumacher and make a great sequel!...with everyone from the 2004 movie, ofcourse :)

  • I love that you included "Devil Take the Hindmost"!! My favorite song in the musical!

  • Where did you find that version of Angel of Music at the beginning?

  • @nick33304 it's played at the end of "Look With Your Heart" from LND. The song itself sucks, but this last bit is great, like every reference to the original Phantom in LND. ;D

  • @gkglasgow Thank You.

  • @gkglasgow LWYH is a wonderful song :O

  • I want the movie sooooooo bad. I've been listening to the music for over a year and have been dying to see it since. I can't wait for the movie and I want them to use the 2004 cast, but I'd settle for less because the story is more important than the actors. I don't really care about the differences as far as ages or times go... the story's just too awesome for it to matter.

  • @hermioneklara but of course it would still be A LOT better if the casts from 2004 appears in this new film. Although there might be setbacks as people will or might try to compare the two. Nonetheless, Phantom of the opera rocks!

  • the dvd is coming out in march-april

  • Whoa! Who was singing.. more like yelling, "all would be ours if that bastard had never been born!" ... I'm very sure it's the Phantom but the voice is so high pitch. And I heard Ramin sings a few of LND songs and he's got a nice deep voice but this sounds like a girl screaming at her brother to get out of her room! LOL

  • @nddlj it's Sally Dexter as Madame Giry. ;D

  • what is the sound from 1:22

"such a child, strange to see.."

  • I want them to make a movie, with the 2004 cast, but unfortunately the POTO movie made a mistake-well not really, they weren't expecting a sequel after 20 years. On Christine's gravestone at the end, it says 1864-1917, so she died when she was old- but in LND she died when she was around 30max (or 26 to correspond with her age in the movie) and although ALW set LND in 1907, it's still ten years too old...BUT THEY STILL SHOULD MAKE ANOTHER MOVIE!

  • cool i like it

  • Who is the little girl at 1:37 ????

  • @CHEKIExoxo well... it's a boy called Dominic Scott Kay. And he's supposed to be Gustave.

  • @CHEKIExoxo its from the last like 5 minutes of pirates of the Caribbean 3, after the credits.

  • Noooooooooooo!

  • Bleh! I thought this was legit :(

  • This video was good until 1:00 in. Then it got really choppy and nonsensical >.> Like you were just trying to put as many clips in as possible...it doesn't really flow...

  • Fabulous!

  • Can I see it this year

  • this production had so many problems! I read the Wikipedia info on it all - ALW's kitten got into his digital piano and deleted the entire score, first! then he had to reconstruct everything from memory! there were casting nightmares etc and the show has closed only after 18 months onstage in London. how very sad - most of the music is magical- the story is a good one, a long awaited one. critics were too harsh. ALW also has had health problems with prostate cancer;so sorry, he deserved better.

  • awesome clip! i really hope if they make it a movie they do something like this. i didn't like the original movie trailer it gave away everything. is it true gerard Butler hasn't been invited to any of the anniversary Phantom parties? cause i heard they rethought his casting after the movie came out but the fans loved him.

  • Just wanted to let you know that this is an awesome clip really, yeah...awesome!

  • Good work mate, you're absolutely right!

  • i have seen the stage show love never dies (australia) i didnt know there was a movie

  • Who ever did this get a life!

  • @Lincoln1704 i have a life as you can tell by the time it took me to respond because i was on vacation. one of the other parts my life consists of is making videos like this one. if you do not like that, dont watch them.

YOU are the one who writes the same comment two times. get a life.

  • Get a life who ever did this, idiot!

  • what is love never dies is a continue of the phantom of the opera is there a movie !! oh what is it!?? im so confused!! please some1 explain!!!x

  • Must please do explain. Okay... christine in the first movie kinda love both... Raol because it was her youth lover and gentle and all that and phantom because he was mysterious and was her angel. But in this LOVE NEVER DIES they talk has she had sex before getting married to raol. Still dont get it..she married a guy she did not love?? what happend after she went on the boat?

  • @InvaderZim18 Love Never Dies is, even in the words of ALW himself "not a true sequel" to POTO. Moreover, Christine is wildly out of character. Everybody else mostly behaves themselves (but only when you think about it reeeeeeeally hard), but Christine doesn't act like Christine at all. She's suddenly strong-willed, faithless, and impetuous, all things that she never was in ANY previous incarnation of her character, including ALW's musical.

  • @AceofGallifrey Keep in mind that Love Never Dies is set, in ALW's words, "roughly 10 years after the original PotO". Christine was between the ages of 15 and 18 during the original. Her personality was bound to change from her teens to her adulthood. Also, she was perpetually frightened in PotO, which would explain why she was never strong-willed. People constantly lose faith, for various reasons. Discovering that her Angel of Music wasn't real may have been enough to stop believing.

  • @KyerstenHarrs By "faithless" I mean she was blatantly unfaithful to the man she swore her love to. Not religious faith, marital faith.

Moreover, while it's true that Christine ought to mature as she grows out of her teenage years, people simply do not change THAT much. Leroux described Christine as being a sweet girl ready and willing to bend to the will of those around her, and she has been that way all her life, even more so after her father passed. It's just who she is to be weak-willed.

  • LOVE NEVER DIES SHOULD DIE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i want i want i want a movie!!!!

  • What I've done is buy the soundtrack from Love Never Dies,(amazon.com mp3) and when you listen to it a few times, you are at the play, almost. The play I understand was due to come to New York but that has been postponed. Movie, I'd say, not for a while but maybe before ALW dies so he can see it happen. Either way, it is amazing and Mr. Weber has done it again. Brava!

  • @flowerchild1950 I'm from Germany and because the play is almost like an opera (almost no dialogue that isnt sung) it will be very difficult to translate so ill think it will take some time until it comes to non-english speaking countries. this global success was the reason for the first movie so i think youre right about that that wont happen too soon.

  • @gkglasgow weißt du,ob es eine Verfilmung geben wird, oder spekuliert ihr nur? :)

  • If there is a movie, it must star Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Bogess. Casting Gerard and Emmy was a massive mistake in the original movie.

  • I hope they do make a movie with the 2004 cast

  • @gabirose1 I think I would have a stroke if that happened XD

  • If this movie comes out without gerard butler I will be so sad:::II

  • @SholeeC i will cry if it comes to the big screan with out all three of them

  • @dracerick its supposed to have a cinematic release, however its not the cast from the 2004 movie. the film is a recording of the australian production

  • I WANT A MOVIE!!!!

  • Hey, this is beautiful.. AMAZING! What is the beginning music from? The music chime... ? x

  • @LOVxxE thank you :)

The beginning music plays at the end of "Look With Your Heart" from Love Never Dies.

  • @gkglasgow Thankyou very much!! Its very beautiful! I can never remember the songs in love never dies, like i can Phantom haha xxxx

  • @gkglasgow It's the "angel of music sings songs in my head" theme

  • BUT after seeing the first phantom live, emmy and gerard SUCK. i mean the keys for all the songs that the phantom sang in the movie had to be altered BC gerard cant sing those songs. ruins it if you ever see the real thing. and emmy has too childish of a vouice to do a MUCH older and more mature christine.

and im so sad bc i thought you knew something i didnt about the movie coming out ;)

  • Ramin and Sierra are amazing as the stage version of Phantom and Christine in LND but number one, switching actors/actresses between movie sequels is stupid and two, Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum were phenomenal and are the only movie adaptations of these characters for me! -3 But once again, Ramin and Sierra? Much love! (Especially Ramin(; )

  • how do you know the "movie" comes out in 2012? it hasnt even HIT america yet. dont get me wrong im holding my breath till it DOES hit america let alone become the movie...but they better NOT let gerard butler and emmy rossum do it again this time. it HAS HAS HAS to be sierra boggess and ramin karimloo.

  • @bakere512 i personally dont think there wont be a movie until this gets internationally succesfull. the phantom of the opera was made a movie after it was translated in all these languages. but i wanted to write a date. ;)

  • great

  • Pretty cool. I hope they do make it into a film. I thought it was fantastic in London

    Kindest Regards

    ER

  • Could someone please make a proper film of LND on youtube (not a music vid or trailer, a proper film)? Thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • Ive seen it twice and it is brillent :D i love the love never dies tilte at the end. Where did you get it from ?

  • @DWandTWFAN i made it myself with the (reeeeally old) program Ulead Cool 3D.

  • @gkglasgow Really ? its really good. I would love to have one myself

  • I hope it doe become a film because I never end up getting down to London to see anything...still not seen Phantom. So the films are great because I don't miss out on all the visual. I wouldn't mind Ramin Karimloo playing Phantom if they did adapt it either because his voice is absolutely beautiful!

  • Gerard Butler, is the only phantom :)

  • @chhhhhharlote Too right! I liked Ramin in the theatre production of LND but on screen Gezzer is the one and only!

  • great job editing the clips and music together! The feel is very much like a trailer. Now, I'm not a fan of LND but I rather enjoyed this, so... kudos! :D

  • @DarthxErik thanks. :)

i also think the original phantom is better but you should look at LND like ALW says: as a completely new musical. if you dont expect it to be a second "Phantom", LND is a lot better ;)

  • @gkglasgow *agrees that the original phantom is much better*

I don't trust what ALW says. I own the soundtrack and don't have the means to see the actual show, but I probably wouldn't if I did. I really would love it if they did a better job at tying the original one in, but it's like they have polar opposite messages. Some of the songs are real catchy, though, I'll admit. ;)

  • @gkglasgow i think if it was written by anyone else besides ALW I wouldn't be so opposed to it, it would just seem like another fanfic off-version. But ALW's original is my favorite canon version besides the novel and I can't stand that he would make a "canon" sequel! I can't stand what they did to Raoul. :(

  • We'll see how the play does when it comes to America! If it's terribly successful then chances are, this movie will happen. It's just a question of whether or not they can sell the idea of this movie... It doesn't necessarily have the same horror/suspense pull of the first. We'll see!!!

  • @ohmss069 i think it's also a matter of the worldwide success. "phantom" is one, if not THE most popular musical ever, not only in english-speaking countries. but the american succes will of course be a great matter anyway. i also think of LND more as a sequel of the movie than the original musical - it fits better to the movie with its changes than it does to the original story.

  • @gkglasgow

    Agreed, agreed.

  • I WANT TO SEE THIS MUSICAL SO BADLY!!!! I would love it, if they actually made it into a movie, that is originally what I thought they should have done but...I love the stage so I'm looking forward to seeing it live!
