hey dude. why do your characters look abit different than mine? i mean the default controlled ones? i have different in-game defaults like this female beast who was on the trailer. anyway, im playing this on the ps2 and how do you get to nanoblast into beast form? i bought the tattoo/badge but i dont know which to press or what gauges to look out for before i can morph into a beast.

what sega should do is put this game back on the pc and make it a free to play game with a item mall. most online games with a item do better than the ones you pay to play cause you have constant new players coming. plus the item mall will make them more money

the expansion version of PSU (ambitions of illuminus this one)has a single player offline mode with a loose introduction to the first games story mode. In this one you get to play through the online story quests with your character offline in extra mode.

Unfortunatly the ps2 servers are gone now so no more online exists on the ps2. But the xbox 360 ones are still up but a dwindling population. PSU had a good run.

Both versions have a offline mode.

@servbot27 I don't have a internet adopter to my PS2, so I don't mush care about the Online system, when I meant ''single-player'', I meant, the, you know, ''Story mode'', you know, ''New Game'' ''Continue'' is it possible on the PS2?(I am NOT talking about the PC or the xbox version) because the guy who worked at that GAME shop, said that there is NO ''Story mode'', it's ''Online mode'' only and nothing else. is it true?

@servbot27 PS2/PC versions have offline, but the 360 version doesn't have one anymore. Once you download the expansion, the offline mode is taken off. =(

_____The PS2 version is the only version of Ambition of The Illuminus you can own, by the way. Why? For the PC version, you MUST have an internet connection at ALL TIMES to play it. There is no offline mode for the XBox 360 version--online only. With the PS2 version, there's no crap with online digital-rights management and no rent-to-play. Just put the disc in, and play. That's how games SHOULD be. Once again, Sony gets an exclusive over MicroSoft....

What's the level cap for online mode? I know it's 200 for offline.

It'll eventually be 200 also online. Right now we are capped at lv 130, but after some updates they let us go up and up as they release the missions with the enemies around the same levels.
